My 2 month old is full from milk and her diaper is clean, but she keeps getting sleepy and waking up soon after I put her in the crib. I have to hold her and put her back to sleep many times. The room is dark and I use white noise. What should I do ??

Not sure if you do this already but sharing just in case! I’d recommend burping baby after feeding because they get so much gas stuck in their little bellies & it’s very uncomfortable to lay down afterwards. After burping & checking for a clean diaper, I recommend swaddling baby to stay warm & for them not to startle themselves during the night💗

Do you have a bedside bassinet? If not, and it’s in your budget, I suggest getting one. It’s been a game changer for us. We were on the verge of fully cosleeping with her (no judgement if someone does cosleep, not my place to say what works for someone’s family) and the we tried pulling the bassinet up beside the bed. It has a zippered side that can be lowered, but still has a bit of a lip. She has her own space, but is so close it’s similar to cosleeping. I am up to pump right now at 1:10 AM and she is asleep and has been asleep since 10 PM. She will probably wake soon to be fed and then will go back to sleep probably until 5 AM. I can easily reach over and place a firm but gentle hand on her belly, or do some maneuvers of her legs to relieve gas real quick before she wakes, or just place my finger tips on her, or put in her pacifier to comfort her and let her know I’m there and she will settle without waking.

Sounds weird; when you set her down, have her head and shoulders make first contact with the bassinet, then her bottom and back.. someone told me this and it helps! Not a whole fix; but definitely helpful! Also, have a heating pad in the bassinet but take it out before laying baby down.
