Would you go to a convention in the third trimester of pregnancy?
I tried to decline given my energy levels and need to use the bathroom. I’m at about 32 weeks pregnant and look fairly large
Would you go to a megacon with your spouse in third trimester of pregnancy?
He bought the tickets without really consulting me and wants me to go with him for at least a couple of hours, knowing there will be long standing lines and insufficient places to sit and what not. I’m very irritable this stage of pregnancy and don’t really feel like I should exert myself just to please him. He does very little housework anyway.
What would you do in my situation?

Listen to your body and do what’s best for yourself. At this stage in pregnancy the last thing you want is to be uncomfortable and irritated all day cause you forced yourself to do something you weren’t planning on. I would talk to him and let him know that going won’t be any fun for you and that may translate in your behavior while you’re there and it may not be very fun for him either. Ask if maybe he wants to take a friend instead so you can stay home and rest.
In YOUR situation, everything you’ve said said is negative and he didn’t even consult you to go he just bought tickets. Y’know what, tell him you’re going for a massage on the day and tell him to invite a friend w the spare ticket he got. In MY situation, I did go around 30w to Comicon but it’s something we go to twice a year together anyway and I was going to expos and festivals since I found out I was pregnant, walking around is NBD to me I was used to it, I was excited to go. You sound like you’re dreading it and only going for him so tell him no.
