Hello, I’m a FTM currently 18W5D pregnant. I’ve been getting this tugging feeling in my stomach after I eat, it’s uncomfortable but not painful. I don’t know whether that’s the baby moving or round ligaments pain.
I’ve also been getting round ligament pain which is either a sharp stabbing pain or a stretching sensation. These happens whether or not I’ve eaten while the tugging feeling is only after I’ve eaten.
So, could the tugging feeling be the baby or something else.

I would say ligamant at this point. At 18/19w baby is still quite small, early movements generally feel more like pops or flutters because they're so little, they won't generally feel like stretching/tugging until a bit later but they might for you! I had an anterior placenta with my first and didn't feel any definitive movements until much later, around 24/25 weeks, however I'm now 17w pregnant with number 2 and have been feeling pops and flutters for several weeks. They're very low down almost in my pelvis, rather than high up in the stomach region. Keep an eye on it and if you are getting really sharp pains frequent speak to your midwife or triage z
