Does anyone else feel lonely sometimes in motherhood?

I love my baby more than anything, but there are moments where I realize I’ve never really had a “best friend”… and becoming a mom kind of makes that feeling louder.
I have sisters and I’m grateful for them, but it’s not the same as having that one person you can text all day, vent to, or just feel fully understood by.
Some days it feels like I’m doing everything right as a mom, but still missing that connection for me.

Yes it can feel very lonely even isolating sometimes. Family of course is here for support but my friends. I had have gone missing since I’ve had my baby and we’ve been friends for years. You are not alone feeling that way I think it happens to a lot of moms.

That's exactly how I feel sometimes and I am a stay at home mom, i had 1 best friend but we're losing touch, we don't talk for weeks at a time lately unfortunately and we used to talk almost everyday

✋🏼 I have no sisters tho. Sister in law doesn’t like me. I always feel lonely 😞

I experience this every day. I moved to another country far from my family, and I have no one to really talk to except my baby. It's really difficult, but as long as we have our babies, all these things...Anxieties are eased, but it's also good to have someone to talk to.

Hey mama there are mom groups like the momwalk there are usually some in your city if you don’t mind the drive there’s a Pilates.n.playdates in upland she does mommy and me groups it’s a good way to meet mommy friends

I feel you... all of my friends disappeared after I had my kids, my sister isn't even supportive and only comes to me to complain. I'm lucky to have my husband's sister and his mom, but it sucks not having friends.

Mum friends - how do people make friends?!

Finding it super difficult to make mum friends at the moment! My little boy is nearly 10 months and I haven’t succeeded in anything more than a few messages or if I talk to people in person at a baby class, it’s just a quick small-talk convo and it never goes anywhere! Feeling a bit deflated because I’d love to have a small group of like minded mums to chat to as none of my friends are in the same stage of life as me ❤️

Sorry to sound mopey, just feeling a bit lonely!

Mom friend

Looking for some genuine mom friends 🩷 I’d love to meet someone I can actually build a real friendship with — texting, FaceTiming, going out, trying new things, having our kids hang out, and just being there for each other. I’m really hoping to find that one bestie where we can be comfortable, laugh about anything, make memories, and have a friendship that feels like family 🥹💕
