37 weeks ! 😬

I literally only have two doctor appointments left until I'm supposed to be due . I'm super excited and nervous at the same time, but I went to the doctor and I'm only one centimeter dilated so I'm just curious if any other first time moms gave birth earlier than their due date or is normal to go past your due date ? TIA ☺️

I gave birth right on the due date with my first, 2 years ago. I had my OB appointment on Tue, she checked my cervix (for the first time), 1cm. After the cervical check, I started losing my mucus plug, and contractions started on Wed around 11am. Gave birth on Thursday 2pm-ish, on her due date.

The majority of first time moms go past their due date. I was 1cm dilated and 90% effaced for good over 2 weeks .

I’m 37 weeks 3 days today and I had an appointment this morning they did nothing special . Did you ask for a cervix check or is that typical protocol?

With my first baby I had an appointment right at 37weeks, she checked me and I was 1cm but I got home and felt crampy all day, my water broke that night and baby flew out of me 3hrs later lol. So you just never know!
I fully expected to go to 40weeks so I was very shocked and unprepared for it haha

I’m 38 weeks and 1cm dilated . My babygirl is cozy. It’s like she’s chilling .all my boys did that too

Braxton hicks

I haven’t experienced ANYYY painful braxton hicks during my pregnancy. absolutely 0! it’s just been “oh that’s solid” and maybe just a bit harder to breathe. no pain or even discomfort, AT ALL!

I am kind of annoyed by this. because yes, it’s nice. but I have never had a baby before. I feel like because I’ve experienced NO pain, it’ll make labour feel even worse. if that makes sense? obviously even if you’ve had painful braxton hicks, labour is still painful. but it probably isn’t AS bad as you’ve experienced practice ones..you know?? so you know at least a little percent of what you’ll be feeling/dealing with.

I’m just scared I’m COMPLETELY UNPREPARED for the pain. does anyone else feel the same?

Glucose test

I’m supposed to go this week for my glucose test and everyone says the drinks are horrible. I’m so nervous and I’ve been nauseous the entire pregnancy so far and don’t want to have to redo it or for me to puke. How was it for u guys?

2 months postpartum. Is it normal to feel low for no reason at all?

Ive had a C section & have a great support system. My parents and husband ensure i get enough rest by taking care of the baby. Baby is healthy and im healthy too. Yet i find myself sometimes reliving my entire pregnancy journey in my mind or start feeling low for absolute no reason at all. Is it the hormones or what is exactly happening with me?
