37 weeks ! 😬

I gave birth right on the due date with my first, 2 years ago. I had my OB appointment on Tue, she checked my cervix (for the first time), 1cm. After the cervical check, I started losing my mucus plug, and contractions started on Wed around 11am. Gave birth on Thursday 2pm-ish, on her due date.

The majority of first time moms go past their due date. I was 1cm dilated and 90% effaced for good over 2 weeks .

I’m 37 weeks 3 days today and I had an appointment this morning they did nothing special . Did you ask for a cervix check or is that typical protocol?

With my first baby I had an appointment right at 37weeks, she checked me and I was 1cm but I got home and felt crampy all day, my water broke that night and baby flew out of me 3hrs later lol. So you just never know!
I fully expected to go to 40weeks so I was very shocked and unprepared for it haha
