Letting myself go

Just need to vent here a little. Since having my second child, who is now 15 months, I've definitely slacked off what feels like a lot with taking care of myself. I know i can do better because during my pregnancy my a1c was 6.4. I moved a couple months after having my daughter and I've only been to the doctor once since living here🫣 I just feel like a financial burden since im also a SAHM. But I need to force myself to go to the doctor because my prescription refills are getting low but I just get anxiety of how bad my a1c may be. And I've been diabetic for 22 years and it just feels like a drag at times

Do you have a lil pin prick machine that can tell you your sugar levels? My MIL has one. I had to teach her how to use it and how to swap the tip cartridges over. To manage your sugars levels at home get a cheap pin prick diabetic machine. Hers is the Accu-Chek brand, the one separate is $17 and the lancing device (the prick) is $9 separately.

Questioning if I should be concerned

I had an etopic pregnancy last January which resulted in losing my right tube.

We just found out we were pregnant 2 weeks ago when I was 8dpo and since then, my line progression has done well. I ended up getting bloodwork done last week on Thursday which my hcg was 88 which I didn’t know until today after my ultrasound-

Today I am to be 5 weeks and 2 days well..

I had an ultrasound vaginal and stomach, I was told she couldn’t see anything and I was asking if we should be concerned. The nurse then told me what my hcg was on Thursday and said that it is very very early. I told her why we came early was to make sure we do not lose another tube. She said they wouldn’t see it until 6 plus weeks.

I just don’t know if I should be worried about her not seeing a gestational sac- nothing. And I was told to come back in 3 weeks.

Does my hcg of being 88 truly mean I am earlier then what I had thought.

Just looking for some comfort please, I don’t want to go through waves of feeling like everything is going to be alright and then crashing.

My line progression and flo dates I apparently ovulated on the 3rd of March

Should I be concerned. I am thinking to get more labs done to see what my hcg has went up to and hopefully they can tell me if it’s good or not.

Toddler asked how I got pregnant 😂

I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant with my third baby. My oldest daughter, who just turned 3 last December, asked me today how her baby brother got into my belly 😂. She caught me off guard, and I didn’t have a quick answer, so I told her to remind me later so I could explain it to her.I need ideas for what I would tell her.

Lightning Crotch in labour?

This might be a stupid question, but can anyone who has given birth before tell me, do you get lightning crotch pains during labour as well as contractions? I'm finding lightning crotch to be really intense at the moment, it takes my breath away and makes me tense up, I'm not sure how I'll be able to stay relaxed with that constant sharp stabbing pain. Can anyone shed any light?

Getting to hospital

We live in Fulham, London and don’t have a car. Wondering about if I go into labour how to get to the hospital 😆 Also don’t have any friends and family who live nearby who’s car we could borrow. How do we get baby back home? Random things to think about 🤔
