Just got back from my 28w+6 growth scan š¤
Baby girl is measuring in the 18th percentile. I canāt help but feel a bit worried. Iāve been noticing my bump seems smaller compared to others at this stage, and now it kind of makes sense.
anyone else having a baby measuring on the smaller side? What are you going to do with your diet?
Trying to stay calm but would really appreciate hearing your experiences š

Mine was 23th percentile at 27w6d. Try to not worry. About bump measurement doesnāt mean anything. My midwife told me they donāt measure bumps because itās not accurate. There are babies smaller than others, until they tell you itās fine donāt panic ā„ļø

As long as baby is tracking consistently on that percentile I wouldn't worry ā¤ļø it's only when they drop off dramatically that there's cause for concern.
In regards to belly size it's all relative. My bump with my first was tiny. I had about 3 growth scans because my belly was always on the small size. Even midwife's will tell you it's an outdated and inaccurate way to measure babies.

Are they sitting stable on the 18th centile curve? Some babies are generally just small , itās only when they drop through centiles that it becomes a worry.
For example one of my twins has gone from;
24+5 - 77 centile
26+5 - 34 centile
27+3 - 28 centile
And itās only now theyāre worrying and keeping an eye to check heās not growth restricted or brain sparing.
I know itās stressful but you might just have a small baby in general.
I would ignore any bump measurements aswell as they really arenāt accurate as everyoneās uterus sits differently and everyone has a different amount of waters etc

I wouldnāt worry too much as mine is measuring on the 10th percentile on the growth chart and Iām 29 weeks, an itās been consistent like that since 25 weeks and the havenāt mentioned to me that they are worriedš¤·āāļøāŗļø
