Sleep advice please!

My 1 year old wakes up between 4/4:30am every morning, regardless of what time I put him to bed, his nap time/length.
I’m back to work on Monday and I’ll be working 9:30am-6pm and I’m honestly dreading it as I’m up from the minute my LO wakes up.
Can anyone help with any sleep advice please? Xx

What’s the rest of his day look like in terms of naps? What time does he go to bed? How much sleep is he getting on average in 24 hours? Anything environmental - sleep is much lighter in the early hours and because he’s done a chunk of sleep already it means sleep pressure is much lower too. This means they are more prone to disturbances like noises, temperature change and light coming in :)

Also when you’ve tried to make schedule changes have you carried on doing it for a few weeks as it takes a while for the body clock to shift!

Ok so little one’s on average sleep 10-11 hours overnight which he is doing and then with the 2.5 hours during the day he’s getting around 12.5 hours of sleep in 24 hours which is dead in the middle of average sleep needs too! It could be that he genuinely doesn’t need any more sleep! Have you tried capping that last nap or stretching that last wake window?

Have you got blackout blinds or a noise machine?

Oh also when he’s waking so early are you starting the day at that time or keeping it dark and quiet?

If bedtime is 6.30/45, then waking up at 4.30 is a 10hr night, which is normal for some babies. If you want a later wake up, then you will probably need a later bedtime

CPS?

Something’s wrong with me. My LG was wailing & crying & screaming & all I did was watch. Didn’t feel like picking her up to comfort her & still don’t.. should I just turn myself in?

Imposter Syndrome

Does anyone else feel like you have imposter syndrome being a mom?

I had my first a couple weeks before I turned 38 and I had already accepted I wouldn't have kids (not by choice).

I remember going to my appointments feeling like I wasn't as pregnant or really pregnant like the other patients in the lobby were. I often catch myself feeling like this isn't my life and I'm playing house my child. I love him so much, but I feel like this just isn't real. He's 15 months so I've had time to come to terms.

Has anyone else felt something like this? How did you get over it?

Brest feeding 6 months plus

Hi. Silly question but how does people navigate Brest feeding when baby gets their teeth? I never made it this far while b feeding my other two so I’m not sure what the next stages will look like.

When to stop C curl and restricted blankets?

May be too soon but just out of interest. When is it safe to no longer sleep in C curl around baby/child? My girl is 10 months but very long and I can no longer do C curl well 😅. Plus her whole bottom half is past my waist now which is where I keep the blanket too.

Long night wakings and exhaustion

My 4 week old wakes once/ twice in the night. Problem is that the wake period is really long. It’s not that he’s awake for the whole time, but he struggles to get comfy again in his next to me. It often means I’m awake from about 2-4am and then he wakes again around 6 and we don’t get back to sleep after that one. We don’t get to sleep until around 10:30/11 as that is when he has his evening feed. My toddler is also waking in the night too sometimes. I’m so so tired that I can’t think straight and I’m also doing nursery runs/ looking after a toddler at the same time as a newborn and just feeling really overwhelmed. My husband helps out but he’s back at work and is knackered too. Is anyone else having similar issues?
