CPS?

Something’s wrong with me. My LG was wailing & crying & screaming & all I did was watch. Didn’t feel like picking her up to comfort her & still don’t.. should I just turn myself in?

No, it just means you’re burnt out and need more support.

Only turn yourself in if you think you will harm her or yourself

You’re definitely burnt out but it’s better for you to take a moment and walk away than to react just on your emotions. If you ever need someone to talk to I’m here 💚

No, I agree with above you’re burnt out, maybe PPD? You need rest or support, maybe some type of therapy but you don’t need CPS 💜

Id suggest therapy asap. I definitely don't think CPS is needed. It really depends on how long and how often this happens in my opinion. But I do believe that this could worsen and get out of control quick if its not addressed. Especially if you don't have support at home.

Sounds like your system shut down. Therapy or inpatient ASAP depending on the severity of it

Sounds like PPD , call your doctor and get some support. ♥️

Reducing formula feeds

I've just been told by my nursery that they wont give bottles of/and formula from 1 year one, my little boys 1 in 3 weeks.
Looking for advice on how to reduce his formula intake?
Hes loves both food and milk 🫣 I think he will drink cows milk so that's not the issue im more concerned about the fact that hes in a routine with his bottles.

Help

I s it possible to get an emergency pair of glasses? So my little boy was born this morning at 24 weeks + 3 days. I usually wear glasses a but left then at home (and all other bits ) as we assumed we’d be sent home again like we had been many times for bleeding / fluid leakage (obvs that wasn’t the case) and now I’ll potentially be stuck an hour away from home without my glasses for weeks. Which obvs isn’t good how can I get a free emergency pair???

Baby won’t go in pram

Hi my 9 week old hates the pram. She screams the entire time she’s in there. I’m at a loss. She’s never liked it. She will go in the baby carrier happily but is completely against the pram. Any advice

Normal behaviour?

Please help. My son is 12 months old and still breastfed. He goes to nursery twice a week. When we pick him up, he screams all the way home (only 4 mins) and then continues to tantrum and really winds himself up to the point where he is extremely upset and distressed, until I can sit down to feed him. Is this normal please?😭 I’m dreading weening him off

Sleeping through

All I see at the moment is how their 6 month old is sleeping through the night… and we are no where near that!

Never has my baby slept through the night. Not once. She wakes a minimum of twice per night but more recently it’s 3 or 4 times (could be teething or from solids idk?)

Please give me reassurance their babies are the same???

Or if they do sleep through the night… what is the secret???

4 months pp feelings

4 months in and still don’t feel myself..
Every day I’m waking up and just waiting for my partner to get home. Feeling lonely constantly..

love my baby so much but he still doesn’t do a lot so sometimes (often) feel like monkey running around him so he doesn’t cry.. wish he was bigger so we could have a chat, I could at least have some conversation with him.

I thought it will get easier but feeling still the same as I felt before.
Maybe I wasn’t made to be a mother.
I see all these mothers so happy walking around and feel like I’m a bad mother even though I give all the attention to my baby so I know he feels loved for sure.

When will I start feeling better?
To add to this, Baby sleeping 11 hours at night with 1 feed only but I barely sleep so I’m exhausted (I just wake up at night for no reason and struggling to fall asleep)

Is anyone feeling the same? Mothers with more than one child - did you feel like this with your first one and it passed at some point?
