I kept food on me constantly. Saltines, granola bars, oranges, protein drinks, etc. Never went more than a hour (if that) without something in my mouth. When I was home I had piece of chicken prepped so I could grab from the fridge. Ate as soon as I woke up.
Ginger lemon losanges were the only things that kind of helped at night. Lots of water.
Roll on mint for the wrists to smell when getting nauseous. And knowing where the closest bathroom is!
I had an emergency C-section at the start of September, and I haven’t had my 6 week discharge/follow up appointment come through from the NHS yet. Are we meant to organise this or is an appointment sent out? Can’t wait to find out when I can start some light exercise and scar massage etc! I’ve had other appointments since but nothing that focuses on this. Thank you 🙏🏼

Had my CS Tuesday. Felt really well afterwards but today I've struggled especially as day has gone on. Feeling like I need more pain relief. When does the pain start to ease off ?

Just to give you hands up.
It’s so sad that children are not allowed in the screening room. My little one was so excited to see his sibling and ended up waiting outside with my husband. We kind of lost the special moment. We are planning to go private soon.
Thankfully baby is doing really great❤️
