I highly recommend getting an IUD, very light, short periods- I forget it’s there (I have Mirena)

Been on both and the implant messed with my hormones soooo bad, been like 3 years since it’s been out and only started to get better from it now. Had “bleeding” for the whole year I had it in, cramp like pains CONSTANTLY, so much weight gain and honestly I could keep listing on things. Never had a problem with the pill personally. But also know people that have had the opposite experience, contraceptive is so different for each person, you just have to find the one that works for you
