Never been a patriotic family really. Not flag wavers kinda people. Maybe if I felt more proud of my country then I would?

I’m Tanzanian & American (US) & I love both my nationalities. There are good & bad that comes from being, living or born in both countries; mainly cuz governments are corrupt asf. Bt nonetheless, I will be raising my son to be proud of his nationality as well not because of patriotism or nationalism bt just in a sense that he understands that he basically had no control over were he was born or lives cuz he had no control over that bt I hope he can still find the “good” & find a sense of pride. Even if it’s for sporting events etc.

Growing up I did. It used to be a beautiful, diverse and amazing country to be proud of. It has been ruined and we are trying our hardest to leave 💔

Up until recently the British was only being proud of being British during football or something to do with the royal family. Considering the state of the place I dont know why people have suddenly become so much more patriotic

I’m reasonably proud of being British in the sense that I love British humour and the people. But in a wider sense in terms of politics etc, maybe not so much.

I want to say yes, but some of the changes in Sweden lately makes me a bit embarrassed to be swedish.
I miss feeling proud to be swedish, to come from a nation known for equality and acceptance ❤️🇸🇪
The racist party keeps talking about making Sweden swedish again by removing all immigrants.
Sure, celebrating midsummer and listening to ABBA is swedish, but its symbolism. Being swedish to me is to care about each other, to help and to pay for each other's happiness. That Sweden I'm proud of!

I adore that I was born on turtle island!
I find America’s history fascinating in a morbid way.

But I don’t think I’d say I am a proud American or a patriot.

I love being French 🇫🇷 I might be living abroad now but every time I go back I have the best time. Great food, great lifestyle, beautiful country. Powerful passport to have as well so travelling is easy. Obviously, it is very far from being perfect but it is home. Love my country and miss it
