Can you go back home to be with your family for some time? Maybe take some time away from each other but it’s also important you have somewhere where you’re going to have help with the baby

Wait. I hated my husband for a few months postpartum and I honestly blame hormones, sleep deprivation and getting used to our new ‘roles’ as mum and dad. I now look back and realise how intense it all felt and I’m so glad I kept going and fighting x

Just hang in there. Alot always happens withing the first 6months of postpartum. Try to think about rhe goods times. Whats happening now is friction due to the pressures. Try to calm down and look for possible solution. Think of it as, this is just a phase and it will pass. Dont think about divorce as a first quick fix approach cause it doesnt even get easier after divorce.
Keep going, praying. As your little one grows it gets easier to navigate things. For career, it will be possible to go back to career when little one is a bit older. Dont give up. I paused my career as a pharmacist cause I moved abroad and then have a baby with no family members around. Had to prioritise my baby and husband and surviving abroad. Im giving it all 2 years from now, when baby is a bit older and finance is stable, I'll get back to career. So please hang in there. All this is temporary.
If its possible, you can move to small house so u can still have your privacy if you are not comfortable with staying with mil

Divorce does look like it will solve anything you have written here though 😁
Having a kid is hard in the beginning for mum and dad with the stress, exhaustion, tension and all. But divorce can't solve that you know 😁
Think of this, you divorce and move out with a newborn in a new country, where are you going to start from? Then you start legal battles, co-parenting, child support, childcare so you can work,, etc.
That doesn't sound as easy as you both sitting down now and having a proper conversation. Table out a plan. What do you guys need to do to sort things out. Once that is in place, get started on that.
But first, focus on yourself and baby. Get rest. Sleep. Have him or anyone else help with baby so you can breath. It doesn't help carrying on with so much mental stress. It only just increase the annoyance and impatience.
I would say no drastic decisions yet, kids change a lot in the beginning. Give it time,, like 1 - 2 years, then revisit everything.
Easier said, I know. But it worked for many 😁

Honestly, if I were in your position, I’d try not to make any huge, permanent decisions while you’re 8 weeks postpartum, severely sleep deprived and dealing with PPD. 🤍 That doesn’t mean your feelings aren’t real — you’ve got an enormous amount happening at once, and it makes sense that you’re questioning everything.
I’d focus on getting through the immediate crisis first: tell your husband just how badly you’re struggling, get whatever practical help you can from family/friends or your healthcare team, and try to take some pressure off the debt/moving/career decisions until you’ve had a chance to breathe. You haven’t necessarily ruined your life or your future just because things look impossible right now.
And if “I never imagined I’d be thinking this” means you’re having thoughts of hurting yourself or your baby, please tell someone immediately and get urgent help. You deserve support through this, not to have to survive it alone. 🤍

I had a failed relocation while 6 months pregnant and it was SOOO rough of our relationship. Your situation is beyond harder with you actually being pp and working and everything else. Truly. I understand why it would feel like everything is toppling down. But get back to where you are as stable as can be and see if rebuilding is worth it. Lean on him if you can and just get back home ❤️

Wait it out I know it’s hard but it can only get better from here right ? Give it until like 8 months pp this is the family you chose so give it a shot

Hi all,
I’d like to start up a group chat for my husband on WhatsApp to talk with other dads, would any of you have a partner that would be interested in that?
We are due our baby in November and I’m finding it sad that there isn’t really anything for dads. I’ve found an app called fatherli and pattr that we are going to try too but thought this may also be a good idea!
If so then I’ll be looking for start it up soon, not sure the easiest way but I thought we could start a group then add our partners then we can leave the chat.

What are we buying our babies for birthday/Christmas? For reference my little girl was born on the 17th December so really not that much time between them both. But looking for ideas as I'm clueless on where to start💓

If your feelings are changing/have changed toward your partner and relationship, can you come back from that?

Has anyone’s babies specifically under 6 months, faced a UTI issue or diagnosed with an E. coli infection?
Would love to hear any experiences your babies have gone through or the type of medication they were put to cure.
Any grunting that happened to your babies before they were diagnosed for it?

First ever time driving alone on the motorway, 4/5 hours, with kids in the back. Oh and it’s going to go dark half way through 🫠
I’m starting to get butterflies and feel nervous. Passed my test 1 month ago and have driven on a motorway with my husband there, just so nervous to do it alone and for so long too!
Hit me with positivity 🙏
