Do you people have sex?

It’s been one year… I don’t even know how it goes anymore. My husband’s not trying. We don’t have time alone ever.

Are we doomed?

When kid/kids are asleep?

Avatar

Wow.. I get an attitude after like 2 weeks of not getting any ..

I would definitely talk to my husband what’s happening if it’s been that long ..

We sometimes go a week without, but I definitely give him the tood when that happens.

Otherwise, yes, we prioritize our relationship. Otherwise, it becomes the equivalent of a broken home regardless of it having two parents inside.

How old are your kids? Time to put them to bed and leave them there! Your husband probably misses you!

We have sex almost everyday, we do go days without it & it doesn't affect our relationship but we are very physical. Love cuddles & kisses. My man get sad if I dont show affection to him enough & I'm the same way. There's almost always a place to do it, doesn't have to be the bed.

The kids sleep in the same room so what if you guys took a shower together?

We have sex every couple months at this point. I would love to do it multiple times a day but he's not very interested since I gained weight breastfeeding. I'm sure we will go back to every few days after I've lost the weight and we start TTC again.

My husband and I get one in at least every week... Except period week. He works nights and doesn't want to do it with our son in the room so it's hard to find time but we do it at least once a week. We are fine though. Sex is just one of the ways we show our love. We know each other's love language so we make sure we do those to each other. We flirt with each other (backwards hugs while I'm in the kitchen or patting each other's butts when we pass by) and we even have a spicy messenger chat... Lol

Pretty much every day! Usually morning and night, often twice at night. My love language is physical touch so I would literally feel sad if he wasn't being affectionate with me daily. Also the more you do it the more you want it! Kinda weird but it's true! We celebrate our 16th anniversary next month and have 4 kids 6yrs and under and we cosleep with 3 of them. We have a Texas king size bed, which we already had before kids because he's 7ft tall. We just find time and use other rooms in the house lol we've had seasons where it wasn't this way, like after I lost my dad or he lost his. I was put on pelvis rest my last pregnancy, earlier this year in like March and had baby in May, I did not take that well, my husband was fine about it. We were still affectionate and found ways to connect. That's not the only way be any means.
If I were you I would say something to him for sure, tell him how you feel. And sometimes you do it tired! We're older and have a few little kids so we do it tired pretty much every time!

Well it's been almost a year for me too. My sex drive is inexistent still, so no not yet.

A year?! Omg I’d go mad. Orgasms help release built up tension I didn’t even know I had and helps me sleep better. The longest we’ve gone without is the 6w healing period after each baby. We have MIL or my sisters to watch over baby while sleeping when we duck out for date night once a month for 3hrs though, if I didn’t have family to ask I’d probably ask a friend or pay for someone to come coz dates are super important to me. Most y’all have the living room and kitchen you can do it in, I live w my 2 teens and my MIL so those days of having kitchen sex are way over lol but that’s an option if you have the whole house to yourself. Venture out of the bedroom. We take it to the ensuite/attached bathroom usually.

🫤I wish I could have sex but my libido is very low 😔

Avatar

I don’t want or feel like having sex is bad to the point where I feel like ending my relationship.

Ik y'all get tired, try to schedule it. I know it's weird to schedule it, but at least you know it's coming and you have time to prepare and get excited about it. Try to at least start with once a week. Even a quicky is good! Don't let your baby come between you guys. I know they are precious and our whole world but if you are constantly a parent, you don't have time to be a married couple. Try to hire a nanny or something for at least once a month to go on a date and even have a good time in a car 😆😜
