C-section information

2days hunny with my first x

It might be different for everyone.
I went home in the evening the say after, but I was allowed to stay another day if I wanted

My first was an emergency one at 3am and was home by 9pm that day because I was doing well and didn’t want to stay. My second was planned - baby born at 12:30pm, I was home by 1pm the next day x

I was in hospital from Thursday - Tuesday, when I had my C-Section! I had high bloody pressure - my daughter had severe jaundice!
But it’s different for everyone hunni! I packed for a vaginal birth but unfortunately had an emergency c section so my partner brought more things needed. It was a hard 6 days but all worth it! I hope it all goes okay for you xx

Depends on how you and baby react to surgery and recovery, everyone is different both people I've known have been in for 5 days 🤷🏼‍♀️

2 days lovely but they wanted to discharge me the day after and I said I wasn’t ready for it x

I had an emergency at 11am and left the hospital at 2pm the next day x

I was in for 3 nights but I had pre eclampsia but I wanted to go home after the first night , best bit of advice is get moving asap! I had my section in the morning and I was up by 6pm and that really helped my pain. She sitting down or standing up really brace and push where it’s painful to sit and stand to help your muscles

Hey, for my two 5 nights, to much pain to be up and walking a day later! I wanted to stay to make the most of having the nurses there etc, so they could check over the baby’s each day etc, so if anything longed it out to be safe 🙏🏼 x

Planned c-section 9:30am. Home by the evening the following day. I’m type 1 diabetic so expected to be in at least 2 nights but they were discharging everyone asap as long as there were no complications

I was in for 3 days but he had jaundice and was tiny so had to wait until he was certain weight until could leave. Move as quick as you can. I went in midday and was walking at 6pm. Drink plenty of water too xx

I was in 7 days post c section however, this was because my son has Group Strep B and slight jaundice. I had high blood pressure and was inducted which failed as only 1cm dilated 12+hrs later ending up with a c section. Have an extra bag packed in the car just in case as it was so hard trying to explain to my husband what I needed! X

I was just in the one night but if anything you would like to know feel free to message haply to answer anything x

We were in 4 days before, 4 after.
Kept in when my BP was high and he was past due.
Ended up having emergency c section, but temperature spiked in theatre so we were both put on antibiotics and had to stay.
Both all okay though.
Hardest part for me was getting moving after. I think a lot of that was anxiety of doing harm.

I stayed one night simply because I hated being in hospital. Upon reflection, I probably should have stayed an extra night just to get the extra help.

It all depends on how your body will allow you to do anything, my first i struggled to walk for couple of days, my last i had to provide a certain amount of urnine but kept struggling & i was also sick after my elective section, i had my daughter in the morning & as soon as i provided urine i was told i could be discharged i had to wait for my meds,

My daughter drank some fluid from the sack & ended up with an infection she was in nicu for a day, we was allowed home day after x
