C-section information

How long were you in hospital for after your first C-section? I am having my first C-section next week and would be grateful of any advice or information. Thanks

It might be different for everyone.
I went home in the evening the say after, but I was allowed to stay another day if I wanted

My first was an emergency one at 3am and was home by 9pm that day because I was doing well and didn’t want to stay. My second was planned - baby born at 12:30pm, I was home by 1pm the next day x

I was in hospital from Thursday - Tuesday, when I had my C-Section! I had high bloody pressure - my daughter had severe jaundice!
But it’s different for everyone hunni! I packed for a vaginal birth but unfortunately had an emergency c section so my partner brought more things needed. It was a hard 6 days but all worth it! I hope it all goes okay for you xx

Depends on how you and baby react to surgery and recovery, everyone is different both people I've known have been in for 5 days 🤷🏼‍♀️

Would you take your almost 4 yr old to a birthday party at an indoor play place during spring break, with a 10 week old baby?

I know it will be crowded as heck since it’s during spring break. I’ll be holding my 10 week old the whole time but nervous that we might get sick from being inside with all those people for so long

Did any mamas get nails done before c section?

Reading mixed things online saying that we can’t get them done bc the pulse reader? Just wanting to see if they actually really care x

Hormone drip

I’m being induced on Wednesday, with my first baby I was induced but I can’t remember if I had the hormone drip as I was so out of it from gas and air and pethidine.

Can I refuse it this time? As I’ve heard it makes contractions more painful, or can I say if I do need the hormone drip, I will need an epidural can the 2 coincide?

Breech or Head down

How can I tell if my baby is still breech? At 31 weeks she was completely breech and I’m unsure on how to tell if she’s flipped head down or not?

christening/naming ceremony

did anyone have a christening or naming ceremony for their little one? what would you recommend? my boy is 2 months old so i’m not thinking right this second but i want to do something for him. i was baptised as a baby although i don’t follow a religion as of current. it will be my family and friends attending as the father isn’t involved, but that still adds up to a pretty decent turn out. what was everyone’s experiences? tell me everything!

Baby movements

I’m 24 weeks today and I’m struggling to work out a pattern with my baby’s movements!
I can feel them move, more at night and not a lot when I’m working, but I’m not sure what the right amount is.
Is there a knack to it that I’m missing or am I still too early for them to be consistent?
I downloaded the kick counter app but I’m not very good at logging things 🙈
