4 months post.

My bottom abdomen is still numb and feels tingly. Sometimes I get a pulling sensation if I move weird!

The recovery was rough…burning, tingling, overall soreness. But now, over a year later, we’re good! Just some lingering numbness in my lower belly above the incision

Mine felt like it pulled for the first month or so. Fine now 5 months pp, but does get a bit itchy. That's more than likely from the fact I have extra weight that hangs over the scare trapping sweat but nothing medically wrong with the scar and nothing medically causing any discomfort, just sweat

Almost 4 years after c-section and it feels completely back to normal. I did go to women's physio though and it took a couple of years to fully recover.

If you're concerned, please see your doctor/midwife/health visitor. They'd be able to advise, both before and after the section. Evidently everyone is different. Bloody hurts the first 4 weeks after at least, not going to lie, and you do need to do wound care after ie warm water with nothing in it, so no shower gels etc. I just had Luke warm water going through the shower, still do, and rinse the scar off. But any concerns, if youre able to, see medical staff ☺️

First few weeks like a water bed. Just jiggly but that’s normal after a pregnancy.

Pelvis had no issues, no floor issues with either recovery. No numbness after a few weeks, full sensation came back after both surgeries within 6-12m.

I’m 15m pp now and stomach is toned and flat.

christening/naming ceremony

did anyone have a christening or naming ceremony for their little one? what would you recommend? my boy is 2 months old so i’m not thinking right this second but i want to do something for him. i was baptised as a baby although i don’t follow a religion as of current. it will be my family and friends attending as the father isn’t involved, but that still adds up to a pretty decent turn out. what was everyone’s experiences? tell me everything!

Did any mamas get nails done before c section?

Reading mixed things online saying that we can’t get them done bc the pulse reader? Just wanting to see if they actually really care x

Hormone drip

I’m being induced on Wednesday, with my first baby I was induced but I can’t remember if I had the hormone drip as I was so out of it from gas and air and pethidine.

Can I refuse it this time? As I’ve heard it makes contractions more painful, or can I say if I do need the hormone drip, I will need an epidural can the 2 coincide?

Breech or Head down

How can I tell if my baby is still breech? At 31 weeks she was completely breech and I’m unsure on how to tell if she’s flipped head down or not?

Growth charts

Has anyone else not get access to the baby’s growth charts. I’m not sure if I made it up that I should have access or not.

If you do was it through an app or website.

Sorry 39 weeks and brain fog is crazy 😂
