Lack of Rolling

Baby girl is 6 months next week and hasn't rolled fully in either direction yet. She can roll onto her side from her back but won't go any further and she hasn't shown any interest in rolling from her front to her back at all - tummy time is almost like having a newborn again!
She's meeting all of her other milestones so I dont know whether or not to be worrying about this one!

My LO is the same... she has zero interest in rolling no matter how much we practice! She will be 6 months on Friday...

Exactly the same here. How long has she been rolling onto her side for? Mine only discovered this a few weeks back, so hoping rolling may follow shortly. Is your baby sitting yet?

Not worrying at all, but I remember thinking the same with my son! He didn’t roll until he was 8/9 months and even then he wasn’t that interested lol. He also didn’t properly crawl for ages, he army crawled lol. They’re all different, babies that are rolling may not be doing things that your baby might be doing x

April 1st baby! 🩷

Baby Millie arrived 27th March by elective section weighing 7lb 11oz! 🩷 We are still in the hospital as she has jaundice so needed to go under the lamp. Hopefully we are ok to go home today 🤞
For anyone going for an elective section after a traumatic previous emergency section.. it was such a healing experience for me! I got to watch her come out and it was absolutely amazing.
Also for 2nd time Mum's.. your heart will literally double in size and any worries you had will soon disappear.
Good luck April Mamas ❤️

Is it normal pain or something more?

I’m not really sure where to post this but figured there might be someone here that could shed some light.

I am 23 weeks tomorrow, so far a normal pregnancy, a couple of times I’ve had some light spotting but each time I’ve been checked out and everything is fine! I have had a previous c-section and have been told I have a low-lying placenta so am waiting for another scan to check it isn’t growing into my scar tissue.

The last few days I have had such bad pain, it is worse when I move but comes and goes with the more I am doing. It is primarily in between my shoulder blades, just below my ribs and across the middle of my tummy (in line with my belly button), I also get it in the lower part of my tummy, mainly on the right side. It feels like a severe stitch.

I went to triage last week for spotting and don’t want to rush back there if it’s something that is normal. Any ideas? 🩵

To Induce or Not To Induce?

Still waiting on my little boy whose EDD was 15th of March.

I'm now 42+1 and the pressure is starting to build to Induce. I have been planning for a home birth so really would rather avoid if possible but now considering inducing at the end of the week or just opting for elective C Section.

Pregnancy has been super straightforward for me, no sickness or issues at all so feels a shame to need to Induce or C-Sec now!

Still feeling well in myself and movements are good. Not really having any signs of labour besides loose poops for a couple of weeks and a couple of nights with intermittent cramping (after I'd probably overdone it a bit in the garden).

I hear so many horror stories for inducing hence considering the elective! Does anyone have any positive stories or can make me feel a bit braver about hanging on!

Honest truth about C sections

I am a first time mother having an elective c section. I’ve been told that it’s a shame I am doing an elective as thank God my baby is healthy. I need to know is a C section better than a birth? If you have had both please share your experience below !

What age are you giving chocolate from and how often??

No judgement, I’m genuinely confused. I worry about sugar intake etc as grandparents both side have diabetes however I also know can’t cut it out completely or may overdo it when older. Wondering what age everyone began with chocolate etc
