Back to work
Hey all 😊
How is everyone coping with returning to work ? I’m due to go back to work next month. I am in no way mentally ready to go back and especially not ready to leave my little one yet either.
I’m afraid of letting go of my current job but feel like that’s what I need to do at least until end of summer and then go back to work (I’d need to find a new job). Ultimately this is not an easy decision. Please share your experience!!

I just had an interview today and if I get the job I'll start on the 14th. Ughhh...
I'm in denial about going back. Got a month left and trying not to think about it cause then I won't enjoy these last few weeks
Going back on the 12 of April . Not looking forward to it at all.
Same! I will have to return soon but wish I could stay home.
I normally work 7pm-7am at a jail. I’m on the fence about whether or not I’ll actually enjoy going back to work. It will be a challenge seeing how that shift will work for me with my husband working around 5:30am-5:30pm. I’ll be going back April 29th. I might have to see about switching to day shift
I go back the 20th and I want to cry when I think about it. I need to work because we need the money, but there’s gotta be something I can do from home.. I really can’t imagine not being home with him at this point.

lol I have came to the conclusion that I will probably not make any more friends. I’ve tried to make real connections and things didn’t work out. I sometimes wish I did have someone I could hang out with and vent too but it’s ok.

Out of all the groups on here this is my favourite but I know everyone is scattered across the UK in here. Has anyone successfully met up and made friends? Been trying to find my Mum tribe since before I had my baby lol
