Change in due date or not?

This far along it's unlikely. Mine is measuring a week younger and my doctor said to ignore that date and just look at her growth percentile (she's around 22nd percentile for her due date)

My MFM just changed my due date at my anatomy scan. I was consistently measuring a week behind and I had irregular periods before getting pregnant because of PCOS. She did base my new due date off my first scan though. With my original due date baby was below the 8th percentile, new date she's at the 31st percentile

I had a week discrepancy and they are going with the later date as of my anatomy scan at 20wks. Their words "we'd rather have a baby who is older we calculate as younger than a younger babe we calculate as older". My case may be different as I deliver around 37wks and there is a difference between having a 36wkr and a 37wkr although they both typically have good odds.

My Dr moves it if you’re a week or more different but every office has different rules

I dont think its that big a deal, my first was consistently 4 days behind at EVERY scan and still ended up coming a week early

My doctor says actual due dates never change; but that you may deliver early / late. But that’s what she said, idk!!

Their measurements can be off by up to 2lbs (closer to term not at 20 weeks) in either direction so I’d guess they won’t move it. I’ve had a friend with a 10lb baby who the doctors said would be 8 and a friend with a 5lb baby doctors said would be 7. My son was measuring ahead the whole time but they didn’t move my date and he was born 1 day before his due date.

My office doesn’t believe in changing it. My son was 1.5-2 weeks ahead at ultrasounds. He ended up coming out at 37 weeks because my water broke.

Since it’s more than 10 days, it’s likely they will. Some spots might not but it’s not uncommon for your due date to change around 20 weeks if the measurements are off by 10 days.
My baby is measuring 4-5 days behind and prior to my doctor confirming that they don’t change the due date unless measurements are off by a minimum of 10 days, ChatGPT said the same thing lmao.
