Yes! And im currently 35 weeks carrying a 7lb 2oz baby! I was always 2 weeks behind until my NHS 12 week scan and then it levelled out. Its hard for them to measure accurately when theyre so tiny and could just be that baby is curled up a little bit X

I was so confused for my first few scans because i went private for them and everytime they gave me different due dates and i was a week ahead then 2 weeks behind it didnt make any sense because I knew my dates! Even now im measuring 2 weeks ahead! I was told at my 12 week NHS scan to take private scans with a pinch of salt, but if youre super worried id contact your hospital and see if theyd be willing to do an early scan for you to confirm viability and things! Xx

Try not to panic. As long as there’s a heartbeat, that’s a fantastic sign. You may have just been a bit earlier than 5 weeks at the first scan.

At my first scan at 5ish weeks I was told the heartbeat was very slow and baby might not survive, he’s now 11 months old 🩵
