I had a cycle in 2024 that led to 3 embryos and a successful pregnancy on the 2nd transfer. I now have a 10 month old and an extra embryo still in storage.
We are 99% convinced that we'll be one and done for various reasons, but Ive just received a bill for next year's storage and I'm struggling to decide what to do.
Pay £425 for another year or decide now and be done for good? The clinic sent a reminder and I knew this was coming, but it still feels quite rushed and final.
How did you decide you were done? I'm 41 this year, which is another factor.

Is putting the embryo up for adoption a consideration? I remember when I started my journey and thinking I may have to adopt and Etsy that looked like.
It’s a hard decision, I have donor sperm in storage and wondering if I’m to dispose or wait to see if I’d try one more time.
Wishing you the best in making the right decision for you both.

Hi, I am in the exact same boat as you so can relate to this on so many levels . Also had my LO from second FET. I’m 42 this year ☺️ but my eggs were collected when I was 39.
We received an email few weeks ago asking what we wanted to do- I didn’t want the pressure and rush of making a decision yet, so paid for another year( in the grand scheme of things, it seemed like a small £ to pay ). We are 99% certain too that we are one and done, but when I do finalise that , I want no pressure or any factors influencing that decision . I feel you are similarly inclined. Good luck, but I think you will end up paying for another year .
