Holiday and weaning

My baby will be 6.5 months when we go abroad and I just can’t seem to get my head around how we continuing weaning whilst away ? Also, looking at a stroller. From experience, do I want one that fully reclines ? Was looking at bugaboo butterfly 2, Joolz aer or Babyzen YoYo I think.

The Joolz Aer is fab. I sold my yoyo and bought that instead. Full recline is excellent for naps.

Weaning - I just ordered a side of avo / plain veg / fruit / pasta and baby had that. Cucumber sticks too... I didn't use any pouches. Xx

You're welcome 😊 I did baby lead and some home made purees, started with veg.

We go away when baby is 6.5 months as well and I’m so stressed! We bought the cuggl compact pushchair and it is really good so far! (We’ve been using it already). It was on offer from Argos and it reclines and is suitable from newborn so it’s comfy!

I’m so baffled what to do about formula as well 😩

Food before 1 is just for fun - don't stress it. Their milk is their nutrition.

Baby led weaning makes it easy, things like cucumber sticks, banana, cooked vegetables, pasta etc. i would just avoid fist time exposure to allergens if I was abroad.

Also seen above you're starting on baby rice - this has no nutritional value, and is typically not recommended and a waste of money. Skip it and go for normal fruit and veg instead ☺️

I bought a little mini blender to take away with me and used that, we were in an apartment so that made it easier obvs! I also took a few pouches as depending on where you are going, if it’s hot you don’t want to be worried about keeping food cool etc, also good to have some for the flight home!

Ms Ratchel

Okay moms. I’m feeling super guilty. I let my 10 month old watch ms Ratchel, it’s not an every day thing but I run out of ideas to play with him. He refuses to crawl, hates tummy time and has no interest in wanting to try. Any other moms currently going through this?

7 month old poop

My 7 month old pooped normally this morning. He ate avocado and banana mixed with my breastmilk and then pooped (image shown) 30 min later. Does this look concerning? He’s exclusively breastfed and acting normal.

Sleep help

Hi mamas!
A sleep question..
My little one (13 weeks) tends to go to sleep around 8pm (give or take) after bath, bottle, bed routine. He quite consistently has a good 4-5 hour stretch initially before waking up for a feed around 1-2am. Once he’s fed and settled back in his next to me crib, the rest of the night is very bitty up until he wakes at about 7am. He’ll go down for an hour or so at a time but finds it tricky to stay asleep for longer than that. VERY thankful for the initial stretch but hoping we can maybe nail down a second longer stretch somehow. Any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance!

Sleeping sack to duvet

This may be a stupid question but by little girl will be 2 next month and i was thinking of starting to introduce her to a little toddler duvet before winter is officially here…

But i dont know if shes ready for one? Or is it just one of these things you just need to encourage?

Help! Sterilising

I have the electric Tommee tippee steriliser and when using the bottles are still wet! Are the products safe to use whilst wet? I’m just paranoid that it’s not 🤣 I sterilise the medela hand pump and still use it when wet but always concerned if I’m doing the right thing. I shake as much water as I can. Some websites say air dry and others say not to
