Two things I am curious about! Not a problem, just intrigued to see what others are doing

1) My nearly 7 month old still can’t roll! She has been sitting unassisted for a while now but still has 0 interest in rolling during the day. At night I can see her on the monitor desperately trying to get onto her side but can’t yet.
How old was everyone’s else’s when they started rolling?

2) when did people start dropping night feeds? My formula fed daughter has 1 bottle in the night at around 1! Not sure when I should think about dropping this? She wakes another 2-4 times in the night but just for the dummy.

My daughter never rolled till after she was walking but she was an extremely early walker. She was taking steps at 8 months. She just stood one day and went. She was sitting from 3 months unassisted. Some babies don’t do everything.
My daughter also slept from 8pm till 6am from 3 months old now does 7pm till 9am ish she’s 20 months now though been like that the best part of a year. My daughter just stopped waking for a bottle. She use to wake for her dummy but at 6 ish months when the risk of Sid’s reduced I went cold turkey with the dummy had one horrendous night then she fully forgot. She also never been a big fan of milk. She doesn’t drink it now and hasn’t drank it since 10 months old. She was drinking an ounce in the morning and at night then would just spit it all back up she’s just been a foodie baby. Just follow her lead if she’s waking up looking for milk give it her if she’s waking up and you put the dummy in and she’s back to sleep with in a few minutes leave her.

To the mums of 2 kids

When and how did you know to have your second? My son doesn’t sleep well but this is the only difficulty we have with him, he’s an absolute angel otherwise. Me and my husband do want another, but when do you know when to try? My son is 9 months, and I think I want one sooner rather than later, so I don’t have to get used to sleep and no nappies to go through it all again. But then I question if I could cope with 2, or do you just get on with it?

I just want a day off.

I am EBF, so it’s not an option really. I doubt he would take a bottle at nearly 5 months and my plan was to feed until at least 6 months, but most probably beyond that. BF is easy in a way too!

The sleep regression has been wild. It’s getting me down. I just want one longer stretch of sleep. Not feeding every 30 mins-2 hours overnight. I resent my partner because of it, the freedom he has. He doesn’t even need to ask, he can just go somewhere alone. I have to ask for a break.

I really enjoyed motherhood up until now, where the lack of sleep is getting to me.
