Hi mums 💛 I’m looking for some advice/reassurance because I’m starting to worry a bit about my baby’s eating.
She’s 13 months old and we’ve been doing BLW for a while now, but she doesn’t seem to eat much. She’ll take a few bites, sometimes suck on the food and spit it out, then get frustrated or lose interest.
I’ve already transitioned her to cow’s milk and I usually offer solids first, then milk after. I try not to rely on milk too much, but I’m worried she’s not getting enough food overall.
Has anyone else gone through this? Is this normal at this age or should I be doing something differently? How much are your babies actually eating at this stage?
Any tips, routines, or reassurance would really help 🙏

I was having problems with my second not eating and got advice through the health visitors, he has only just started eating a substantial amount this past week (11 months), apparently, all he needed was Mac and cheese and honeydew melon to kick start him 😅 they told me not to worry until around 18 months x

Might just be a small eater! Are there certain textures / flavours she’s spitting? Any chance she’s teething? Aaaaand do you eat together? These all have a big impact on my boy’s eating and appetite x
