When did everyone hear their little ones heartbeat for the first time (UK)? Is it normally during the second midwife appointment or anatomy scan? I’m so excited to hear it for the first time but unsure when we will. I have a heart doppler but still not heard anything on that at 15 weeks

Pretty sure I heard the heartbeat for the first time at the midwife appointment around 20-21 weeks

With both my second, angel baby and current third all around 8/9 weeks of pregnancy

I got to hear at my 12 week scan <3

With my first pregnancy the only time I got to hear the heartbeat was when I went in for reduced movement and that was the only time. Nothing yet this pregnancy

16 week appointment x

In my trust they don't do heartbeat, you only hear at scans

Midwife first used the Doppler at 16 weeks

18 weeks with Doppler at midwife appointment x

I went for private gender scan at 15 weeks and heard it for the first time got it put into a teddy bear

16 weeks midwife appointment with the NHS but heard it for the first time at a 15 weeks private gender scan.
Just to note, not all midwives or Trusts will use a Doppler at 16 weeks to hear baby’s heartbeat. It’s very dependent on the individual midwife and Trust. This is due to how difficult it can sometimes be to pick up up the heartbeat when the baby is still so tiny.

They don’t do this anymore, I only heard my babies when I went in for reduced movement under 24 weeks x

With my 1st and 2nd it was at my 16 week appointment, I’m now pregnant again and they’ve stopped doing it and listened at my 25 week appointment x

16 weeks appointment with my midwife.

You'll hear at your first 12 week scan. Then at 25 week midwife app you'll hear heartbeat and the next midwife apps
