Can’t decide between vbac or section

I am so unbelievably torn between how I want to give birth. I just cant decide, I’m only 26 weeks so I know I’ve got time but I feel like I don’t🙈I’ve written pros and cons for both and it hasn’t helped attal! My first birth was via elective c section through maternal choice and it went well and I healed well. Can anyone shed any light and help me out 😩

I had a C-section 4.5 years ago.. just had a vbac 2 weeks ago, did have to have stitches though.. recovery for me this time was SO much easier and I’ve felt so much happier in myself, c section was way too much pain for me after and also with my 4 year old I wanted to be able to move around as much as possible after so it’s defo the best decision I made xx

I’m leaning towards c section because the last thing I want is an emergency c section again. I was in hospital for ages recovering because I lost a lot of blood and was thoroughly exhausted from labouring all night for it just to end in a section anyway. My baby was huge though so I might feel differently if my baby is smaller this time.

Line eyes????

Does anyone else see a second line or do I have line eyes????! Omg I’m so nauseous and I have this kinda gut feeling but maybe I’m in my head
Edit to add: my husband had a vasectomy a year ago. We are content with the two boys we have. I’m freaking out over here

Newborn sweating

My 10 day old seems to be sweating through his onesies. His nappies are dry when we change him. The temp of the room and his temp are monitored. These last few nights when I'm getting him out of his bassinet he's damp. We've taken a layer of him but we're in one layer and don't want him to be cold. Has anyone else experienced this?

Water birth and gestational diabetes

Had our 36 week appointment last week with the midwife and my bump was measuring small (had this a couple of times with our daughter and all was fine). Went for a growth scan over the weekend and no concerns about his weight but his abdomen is on the 95th centile. As a result of this they have now booked me in for a gestational diabetes test but not until next week when I'll be 38 weeks.

Obviously this has come as a shock as we went in thinking the baby was measuring small and now we're in limbo really late on in the pregnancy. Basically, has anyone been in a similar situation? How quick do you get the results as obviously I'll be full term a couple of weeks after the test! Would I still be able to have a water birth as planned?! Sorry, so many questions but if anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it as feeling a bit lost now 🫣

Further scans/labour induction

Hi All, I am 37 weeks and 4days pregnant. I have no signs of labour yet. The last scan was at 34weeks and the midwife suggested that no further scans are required.

My question is - Do I have to reach out to the hospital closer to the date or will they get in touch with me ?

Thanks in advance.

GROWTH SCAN 😳🤭

Just had a growth scan at 32 weeks & 4 days and baby boy is measuring over 5lbs alreadyyyyy. He’s actually the same weight my daughter was when she was born. WHAT IN THE WORLD? They briefly mentioned having him at 37 weeks because he can’t go past 10lbs since my previous delivery was via c-section. I feel so unprepared. Still have to get to my baby shower in a few weeks. Helllllp. Have you had something similar happen? What was your experience?
