My 6 week old has an increasingly congested nose all the time and snorts because of it. It’s clearly annoying him and wakes him and us up at night. He had a cold a couple of weeks ago but we’re back to this more dry sounding congestion and nothing really comes out with the snotsucker. We’re using saline drops but it doesn’t really do anything. Does anyone else have the same? Thinking of going to the GP but I’m not really sure what they’ll do

My daughter has been the same on and off for a few weeks. Ive taken her to the GP and he advised putting her in the bathroom when I have a shower so the steam helps her x

This might sound strange but does he have any other symptoms of a cows milk protein allergy? My daughter was the same as yours with the congestion for weeks and much worse on a night time. Blocked nose/difficulty breathing can be a symptom of CMPA. Other than a mild rash occasionally after feeding she had no other symptoms. I’ve been prescribed the prescription formula for CMPA and her blocked nose has completely cleared. Might not be an allergy but worth thinking about if it’s been weeks?xx
