Can anyone give me advice or tell me why?

Midwife rang me yesterday to book the first appointment.
I’m 4 month post partum so only seen her a few month ago. She sounded really pissed with me, asked multiple times if I wanted to carry on with the pregnancy. I’m 9 weeks on Monday.
This is my third baby.
Look I get why she’d sound pissed I’m aware your meant to wait and I’m aware of the risks. But this is her job and I felt really judged on the phone. ( This is not my question)

She said she’d book me in for Wednesday then I’ll get a scan a few days after at the most a week. I will not be 12 weeks then, Is it because this pregnancy is a high risk hence the early scan?

I think the first scan can be anywhere between 10-14 weeks? You could always call the midwife department to clarify things when you get the actual date through the post.

Regardless, you shouldn't be made to feel like that and need to be comfortable, so I'm sure if you politely said you felt judged and requested to change midwives that wouldn't be an issue.

Obviously I wasn't there and didn't hear the conversation but maybe she wasn't pissed off? Maybe it was more of a she's asking you if he if you want to continue the pregnancy because of how close together it is from having your last baby to getting pregnant again and if you're already 9 weeks then obviously I believe her main concern would be that your body hasn't had like a year or so to heal before having to go through the process of the hormones and bodily changes again

Side sleeping post C-section

When did everyone start sleeping on their side again post CS? I’m almost 5 weeks, tried it last night again and I just cannot bear the feeling. It doesn’t necessarily hurt but the feeling of ‘emptiness’ in my stomach is all I can describe it as, is absolutely awful and I can’t get my head around it.
I think it’s still in my head as well something can go wrong and it become infected or something, I’m just massively overthinking it!

Just been told we have to have a C-Section. First time Mum!

Hey girlies! I'm a little scared. Just been told we have to have a C-section due to pregnancy complications. I was really hoping for a water birth. Just wondering if I could hear some positive stories and tips on recovery. Like how long is it until you can go out the house after a C-Section etc? When do you feel normal again? When can you work out and is there certain exercises you can't do?

Water Breaking

Hey! I’m terrified my water is going to break and I won’t realize it. I’m due Monday. Anyone have any symptoms to look out for?

TMI but:
- Watery discharge is normal for me and something I get randomly
- The amount of said watery discharge already varies and always smells like nothing
- I’ll also randomly get a big clump of discharge that looks like mucus frequently

Basically, a lot of the symptoms of your water breaking, I get whether I’m pregnant or not. I talked to my doctor about how to tell and he basically said the same thing. When I told him it’s all normal for me, he kinda just shrugged and didn’t say anything else other than “Oh, don’t worry, you’ll know”.

Wow 😮‍💨😮‍💨❤️

Soul Sinclair arrived 30 mins before his due date, 2.5 hours after arriving to the hospital. 6lb 12oz, same nose as his brother and an absolute dream boy.

I’m shattered 🤣
