Hiya hunny so with throwing up, diarrhoea and not being able to keep water down you are going to be severely dehydrated .
I had this issue when I was pregnant.
You will need to go to hospital where they will hydrate you with a drip and give you some ant sickness tablets.
At this gestation you need your energy in case you go into labour .
Message me separately if you want to ❤️

for peace of mind i’d give your hospital’s maternity assessment unit a call- they’re likely to want you to go in. like belle mentioned above they’ll want to give you iv fluids and they’ll probably want to monitor baby as well if you’ve been struggling to keep anything down. given that you’re so close to your due date they might potentially speak to you about induction. did you have hyperemisis/sickness throughout your pregnancy? or has this sort of come out of the blue? x

They tend to say it’s your body cleaning itself out getting ready for you to give birth. But if you can’t keep anything down then ring triage as they’ll want to see you and possibly hydrate you with a drip, give anti sickness medication and monitor baby as well. Take your hospital bag with you just incase x

I feel so bad 🥹

So I’m 27 weeks and I really don’t have much cravings but lately I’ve been wanting pork and beef. I have not ate both in over 8 years and yesterday I had bacon. I feel like I want to cry because now I want a pepperoni pizza 😭

What to do when water breaks?

So I was told when my water breaks wait at home till my contractions become regular, so try and prevent intervention (because I don’t want intervention, and midwife told me, once you go in with waters broken, you’re on their clock, which means if baby doesn’t come within a certain time they will try induce me ect)

What has anyone else done once their waters broke?

Had enough

Today I'm done. I'm sat here crying because I'm so done.

I run warm normally, even when I'm not carrying around my own personal internal radiator. And the heat today has just pushed me over the edge. I'm sweaty and sticky and uncomfortable. I've got a toddler who thinks climbing all over mummy is the best game ever. Normally that is fine by me but today I don't want to be touched.

Every night I lie in bed and sweat. I can't have a quilt or even a thin sheet over me. I have to use a U shape pillow to get even the slightly but comfortable which traps heat and makes me even hotter.

I feel gross and slimy all day every day and today I'm just done. I don't envy women who have a mid/late summer due date. I would not cope. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and the next 5 weeks are going to drag if the heat doesn't do one. My little boy came at 39+2 and I'm just praying this one comes a bit earlier.

There is no point to this post. Just somewhere to vent because if I don't vent somewhere my poor husband is going to get his head bitten off for no reason.

C section requested over induction last minute!

I was in triage today again after a midwife appointment due to high blood
pressures. It all turned out to be okay. It’s still not high enough for them to give me medication but they find higher trace of protein in my urine and they want me to go back for monitoring tomorrow. I will most likely go back everyday until my c section as I don’t want to be inducted. They have requested a c section for me for Friday but they are very busy, so it might not happen, unless my blood pressure plays up again and it will be an emergency.

I just want to find out from c section mamas how did it go for you, especially if it was a last minute request. Did they call you the day before, do I need to go in, I will ask more when I’m in the day center.
