We have gift wish-lists that we ask the other person to update regularly. That we we know we'll get something the other will actually appreciate. If he can't think of anything, then just take him out to lunch? Or make/cook/bake food that you know he really likes but doesn't often eat

If he loves reading I recommend a kindle 🤗

I usually go based off of my husband’s likes and interest. As well as trying the 5 senses.

Mine likes things that are useful, but wouldn’t get himself because they aren’t a necessity

Last year for Father’s Day I got him a shirt that had like a little outline of our son giving him a big hug. Otherwise, my husband is a bills fan, so bills stuff lol.

Maybe cake & take him to dinner ? With the cost of things that’s easily $100 minimum

We love to order takeout so gift cards to restaurants! Or maybe tickets to a cool experience to make memories with your family or just you two

we love going on short trips for bdays! (obviously not always possible with kids). my husband also likes practical things that he wouldn’t buy himself… think: a leather guitar strap, a thick warm high quality flannel style shirt from his favorite company, a cool hat, etc

My husband isn’t a fan of gifts. I try to get him stuff he needs or really wants but won’t buy it himself. For his birthday last year I got him a dash cam and some high end sneakers he wanted and dinner
