Has your baby rolled over yet?

If yes, are they doing it tummy to back or back to tummy? Do you do tummy time with them and for how long?

I know it’s different for each babies but I’m trying to understand if doing more tummy time actually helps or not. Thanks!

Hey! Second time mom here, baby rolling both ways now.
I had 2 under 2 so most of his day was spent in a carrier, then on the floor maybe an hour tops each day (i felt awful as i wasnt doing ANY dedicated tummy time really).
If baby has lots of time in a carrier that can partly substitute for tummy time as the core muscles are being engaged x

My baby rolls onto his side and that’s about it! He don’t really have much interest in rolling 🫣 x

My baby rolls front to back. And onto her side. She seems more interested in shuffling herself round in circles with her feet haha all floor time we do has a smal fraction of tummy time. Maybe an hour a day split into intervals as she hates it x

My baby rolls when she wants to! I’ve seen her do Tummy to back once never again, and back to Tummy a handful of times! She pivots around the floor in circles lol, but she is nearly sitting unsupported! X

My 5 month old rolled belly to back three times at 3 months old and then never rolled again 🤣 I’m not concerned as she loves tummy time and does loads so it’s not due to not enough tummy time, she is started the motions of trying to move so I think she’ll skip rolling and go straight to crawling. For context, my first did not much tummy time as hated it and she rolled both ways early. I think sometimes they just will do what they want when they want x

Hey! FTM here. My Lo learned tummy to back fairly quickly as shes always been a front sleeper and if I dont get to her cot quick enough gets annoyed and flips herself 🤣 but she has recently learned back to front. I do about 2h floor mat time a day and she tends to just lye however shes comfortable now hahaha

My 5 month old has never once rolled belly to back, but as soon as I put her on her mat, instantly rolls back to belly 🤣 she’s never liked tummy time though so a lot of my day consists of rolling her back as she’ll scream until I do so🤣

Its just u till she gets annoyed mainly. Its a mixture, because she flips herself it tends to be me flipping her back to her tummy every so often but id say half and half really

HELP!

i’m currently 37 weeks pregnant! i was meant to have a scan on Tuesday as i have high blood pressure meaning i have a scheduled c section booked in for 39+3 (27th of April) however i arrived at my appointment 10 mins late as there was really bad traffic (and i live an hour away as it from the hospital) so we had to reschedule. they called me today and said they have rescheduled it for the 20th of April at 8am. only issue is this is only 1 week exactly before my planned c section. and this scan was to see if we needed to move the date forward due to my blood pressure continuing to increase so having a scan at 38+3 just seems a bit pointless. also if my blood pressure is high it means there could be more complications in my C section such as higher chance of bleeding out so i’d need to take blood pressure tablets but im worried a week isn’t enough time to sort my blood pressure out and i don’t know what to do.

High pain threshold...

Please give me some comfort im so nervous.
Ive just got out of 4 day stint in hospital after have a very intense bloody show at 35 + 3. Im talking blood down my legs kind of intense...
Anyway, im high risk. I have gestational diabetes, cholestasis and pre eclampsia, and have a section booked in 2 weeks time at 38 weeks. Before I was released from hospital I had a cervical check and I was 3cm, but they said all my levels were okay so go home and come straight back at the first sign of either waters breaking, more blood outside of mucus, or contractions. My problem is - im so worried that im not even going to realise something is a contraction snd miss it and then not even make it to the hospital for my section before im too dialated. I had no idea i was 3cm, ive had some slight cramps today but nothing thats concerned me??

Get Ready!!

Ladies! This is your sign to get ready if you haven’t started yet! It’s not too early. I hit 28 weeks today and started bleeding with no apparent cause. I didn’t have sex, I didn’t workout, nothing crazy happened. I went to my OB/GYN to get checked and they told me to go to the OB triage at the hospital because my cervix is thin. I’m at the hospital now and baby and everything is okay, my cervix is not alarmingly thin. I won’t be giving birth today, thank God! But this just goes to show that anything can happen at any moment. Get ready now and relax later!
