Declining extra ultrasounds

I am 34 weeks 1 day! I have only had vaginal births. This is my third pregnancy. They always do extra ultrasounds for me since my first pregnancy I gave birth to a IUGR baby. Could never find out why my baby was so small. My 2nd pregnancy was normal and healthy and I didn’t have to do any extra stuff!
This pregnancy everything is normal so far thankfully, but at my last ultrasound at 32 weeks my baby was breeched, no big deal he still has time to flip and according to where he is kicking he definitely is head down again.
Yesterday at my regular OBGYN appointment I turned 34 weeks!! And one of the OB’s I see kept talking about induction and c section because he is breeched. I said “My 2nd pregnancy my daughter went head down right before she was 36 weeks” but the OB insisted that he was running out of room.
But even this doctor said “Everything this pregnancy looks wonderful so far except for him being breeched” she didn’t touch my stomach or anything to tell his position. Today I get a call that I need to have weekly BPP ultrasounds because he’s breeched this was never mentioned to me at my appointment.
I SWEAR these OB’s are trying to get me to be induced or have a c section because there are TONS of women pregnant that go to my OB. I am refusing a c section and I have decided that I am declining the extra ultrasounds because he is normal and I swear he is head down again. They seem to be trying to find something wrong with me or him because last month I had to have multiple ultrasounds just because they “couldn’t” get good photos of his heart, kidneys, and brain but EVERYTHING came out normal.
I am so stressed. I cannot do anymore ultrasounds I just want to enjoy my last month or two of being pregnant!!!! I am scared of telling them that I’m declining because I am 100% a people pleaser (unless it comes to my kids) but I’m sick of them searching for things wrong! They NEVER did this with my last pregnancy.

I NEED TO ADD I STILL HAVE AN ULTRASOUND TO GO TO SO WE CAN SEE BABY’S POSITION so it’s not like they aren’t going to see where he is.

This does seem like too much pressure. And you are right that babies has still time to turn unless they’re already turned! My OBGYN today said herself that she had cases when babies turned LAST minute. Like literally during labor…. So…
And there is still plenty YOU can do to make sure the position is right like all the of the Spinning Babies exercises 🩷

Ultrasound photos 🥲

Was hoping for that cute strip of baby photos to use for my shoot that I see everyone have.. instead my tech (who was a guy) gave me one of my baby and two leg photos……. WHYYYY

And I didn’t notice till after cause I was already cleaning up when he handed it to me.. I thought it was just standard practice and that I wouldn’t have to SPECIFY. And it sucks cause there were so many moments he showed me of my baby like sucking its thumb and stuff. So dissappointed.

C-section vs Vaginal delivery recovery

Hey guys, anyone who has women has experienced both a c-section and vaginal delivery, which was harder/more painful/worse for recovery?

Tubes tied during C-section.

So I went for my appointment today with the consultant to consent for my elective C-section.
He offered to sterilise me at the same time which caught me off guard as I never even thought of it 🤣

I mean it would be nice to not have to take contraception for the next 15/20 years but I’m a bit skeptical.

Has anyone had this done during their C-section and if so, how did you find the actual procedure and also the aftermath?

Thanks :)

Reduced movements UK

I am having frequent reduced movements, 32 weeks pregnant. I have extra monitoring and bi weekly CTGs. Can I request to have an earlier elective section because of this? Anyone in the UK thats had a similar experience?

Will anyone request to stay in hospital for additional night?

I did it last time and plan same thing this time. Regardless of where ill be, ill be exhausted and most probably tired. But if i stay in hospital, 1, im still under their care and 2, my husband will get chance to sleep properly and get some rest to take care of us and our toddler once were back home.
