Tubes tied during C-section.

So I went for my appointment today with the consultant to consent for my elective C-section.
He offered to sterilise me at the same time which caught me off guard as I never even thought of it 🤣

I mean it would be nice to not have to take contraception for the next 15/20 years but I’m a bit skeptical.

Has anyone had this done during their C-section and if so, how did you find the actual procedure and also the aftermath?

Thanks :)

Had my tubes removed during my section, didn’t take much extra time after baby was born and recovery has been absolutely fine. Four weeks post op now and feeling good ❤️

I am 15 weeks pp and have been perfectly fine. Didn't take long at all. The only difference I feel is when I wake up in the morning I am a little sweaty but, I think all my hormones are just trying to go back to normal. Honestly he is my first and only baby due to the fact that I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. Slightly regretting it a little bit because time is flying by too fast but, I know it was for the best.
