7 weeks postpartum

Hey so I’m 7 weeks postpartum, got home from the Nicu a few weeks ago now, my son needed an emergency surgery and was there a few weeks. My husband works nights and sleep a lot of the day, and I can’t help but feel like I’m doing this alone, I also have a 2 year old, I just don’t know how to cope with all of this, and when I try to talk to my husband about how I feel he just tells me how hard it is for him. Does anyone relate to this? Any tip of how to cope with this cause the postpartum rage I have is just messing me up.

I can understand how that can be difficult. It is hard for my husband to help as well because I am breastfeeding and all my baby wants is her mom, but my husband tried to take her when she was asleep so I could take a nap or get the house together. If your husband isn't helping at all that is a conversation that needs to be had. If he isn't listening maybe try and get a 3rd neutral party involved. Community really helps to like family and friends. Maybe have your mom, dad, or friend help out for a few days.

I was the same way and still am sometimes. I think for me I just had to realize this is hard asf but it is my biggest blessing (being a mom) my girl is two months and her daddy helps but sometimes bc of how much more we are doing it doesn’t feel like help at all. I had mine just start doing things to take the load off me a little. Like dishes every once in a while, take trash out, 1 feeding every other night or so, helping prep bottles and food. Don’t come at him with all that rage, although I get it, bc the conversation will go nowhere. Explain you know it’s hard he’s working but you are 24/7 with the baby and feel like you just need a little more help and a break every once in a while. I always bring up the fact I want him to bond with our babygirl more whenever I talk to my husband.

My baby has been having this on his gum for weeks now and the gp said it’s nothing but I’m so worried.

Potty training

I’m due to start potty training my daughter (finally) next week! She’s 2.5 years old. And I just need some tips cause I’m so nervous about it.

I’ve got some potty training underwear for her and some potties to put on each room and an extra seat for the toilet.

My house is carpet so I’m dreading this so much.
She used to tell me when we she needed to poo but the past few days she hasn’t?
Are there any tips to help it go smoothly and quickly(hopefully) since I was have a 3 month old to deal with.

Disobedient Husband

Hi, throughout duration of my pregnancy the husband has been rude and inconsiderate. He has forgotten my birthday and our anniversary.

I’m not sure if obedience school is an option at this age because he is 40 now and beyond the point of training age.

Any tips or helpful tricks to mediate his autonomy at this time ?
