Your essential your bathroom items but a lot of hospitals do provide some of the bathroom items for you, especially in pads and a period underwear and they will provide diapers and wipes for your baby and toothbrush and toothpaste for you and per bottle for down there. They'll provide that for you, but it's not the one that you might like so you might wanna pack your own also that is with a better nose to go down there. You can pack your own pillow, but I just think that a neck pillow is easier to pack so that way you don't have to carry a lot of things back down even though they will provide you a big shopping cart to put all your stuff there on. If you don't have a car seat they will provide you one most of the time they'll ask you if you need anything and they will provide you with a playpen if you need one also bring your nightgown that is comfortable and loose because if you're breast-feeding, especially when they're pushing on your stomach .

For you - long phone charger, a speaker for your labour playlist, a fan, a mix of warmer and cold baggy nighties (my room was actually quite cold!), snacks and some lucozade sport, a water bottle with a straw, adult nappies (I much preferred this to pads at first, less rough!), black towel, flip flops for the shower.
For baby - a mix of first size and 0-1 size clothes as it depends on how big your baby is, some hats and sleepsuits with mittens in, nappies, first formula (I took this even though I exclusively breastfeed incase I couldn’t get her to latch), I took colostrum syringes, bodysuits for under the sleepsuits, cotton wool for their bits rather than wipes at first xxx

Bring a hair tie and bring a lawn charger. Bring clothes for Baby and yourself for after you're leaving the hospital bring your own wipes and diapers. If you feel more comfortable, my Hospital gave me the pampers brand diapers and wipes, and I took them back with me afterwards, the leftovers bring your own baby hat if you feel but they will put one on after the delivery on your baby. Don't bring too much entertainment because you're not gonna have time for that. Bring your delivery plan even though it might change bring wipes, warmer just in case you're able to plug it in.

Bring your own water bottle, but they should be able to give you a cup with a handle in a straw, bring your own snacks because they might not have the ones that you like. Bring your own baby waddler from when they're just newborn. I have to delivery just in case you don't like the towels that the hospital gives you for the baby do a carry-on suitcase just in case you don't want the backpack to be but again you're not gonna really wear it cause they'll put you in a wheelchair and then you could put all your bags in a shopping cart that they'll give you so you don't have to do anything except hold the baby in the side the car seat seat before you go outside.

You can bring your own music if you feel more comfortable or just play it on your phone so that way you don't have to pack as much. You can bring Chapstick that will be really helpful. You can bring shower slippers. If you wanna take a shower you can bring makeup if it's gonna make you feel better. You can keep your contacts and you don't have to wear your glasses at the Delivery day. Don't bring too much jewelry because it will be uncomfortable. They will provide your big pads so you don't have to bring too many of your own. Make sure you have enough space on your phone to take a bunch of pictures of your newborn and while the deliveries happening, you can still do that.

They will give your baby vitamin D. They will ask you about it. Also, you can bring your own baby vitamin D. They will ask you if you want the baby to have a shower. You can bring the calendar blanket for the baby if you feel it, you can bring your own blanket for your own self, just not electric you can bring loose comfortable pajama pants. You can bring nail kits and a brush for your baby, but it's really not necessary because it's just boring.

Bring your folder for all the paperwork and a notepad just in case you feel like writing stuff down or let somebody else do it for you

Bring an empty bag just in case you need Hospital stuff to carry back that they give you and you wanna take from your room, but they will give you a laundry bag as many as you need for everything if you want to separate your shoes from your clothes

They will have nipple cream for you, ice packs, and heat packs if you just ask for it

Up

This is my 2nd so I'm thinking what I had and what i wish I had! Other than what's already been mentioned I'd say:
Dry shampoo (had no hot water when I was in!)
Handheld fan (it gets boiling hot and i gave birth in January last time!)

I think the women from the UK have really covered in detail what you need. I'm probably repeating. This is from my list from 2 years ago. All I've added for this time is milk and bottles but you can buy the newborn milk in single use bottles which comes with teat. I didn't have last time and ended up with an emergency C section and my milk didn't come in and they really didn't want to give milk to give baby.

7.5 week PP and I think I’ve gotten my period, but it’s very light, mostly just spotting with tiny bit of mini clots. I’ve been reading everywhere the opposite as everyone having super heavy flow, so now questioning if it’s normal or if it even is period..?!
