Nappies

My 15month old is FINALLY sttn after hourly wakes until he was 12 months or so.
However, he is now waking soaking wet every single morning. He’s in pampers nappies at night which are supposed to be good but they don’t seem to absorb his wee.
Any nappy advice that’s worked for you little ones overnight? Xx

I use Aldi or Rascals. I’ve had the 1 or 2 leak where I haven’t put it on properly but apart from that she stays dry all night! X

My boys in the Tesco pull ups and haven’t had any leaks from 6:30-7:30 x

What size does he have? x

We used to use pampers overnight but the older he’s gotten the less leak proof they have been. We have switch to Sainsbury’s nappies and they’re amazing!

Thanks all- now I’m questioning whether I’m putting them on correctly 😂 you’d think after 15 months I’d know how to do that lol.
Currently size 4 but tried a 5 last night and made no difference- if ajytbigg he was even more wet!

Use the purple pampers, size up the vest and make sure the pampers are the right size not too big or small x

We use Tesco size 5+ with no issues x

We use Aldi, they have a plus option for extra absorbency which is good for overnight x

Aldi 5+ pull ups seem to hold an insane amount and last all night! I just use a pull up before bed and regular nappies in the day x

Rascals pull ups are amazing! Better than pampers in my opinion

I use pampers pull ups and size up for night time sleep.

Rascals nappies for me has been the best brand and a size higher than the one they fit in theory.

Mounjaro

Is mounjaro allowed to be taken whilst breastfeeding? I’m not on it yet, but considering it as it’s the only thing that helps me lose some weight due to my health conditions.

Tired 10 weeks postpartum mum needing reassurance from formula-feeding mums 🙏

Hi mums, I’m 10 weeks postpartum and feeling so burnt out. My baby doesn't latch, so I’ve been pumping and mixed feeding. Pumping is exhausting me, and I’m really thinking about quitting.

Because I work in healthcare, the guilt is hitting me hard and I keep overthinking the benefits of breast milk. But my mental and physical health are slipping.

Would love to hear from moms whose babies are 100% formula-fed. Please tell me your formula babies are thriving and that you got your sanity back! Need some reassurance today. 🙏

Bedtime

When should I start getting my little one into a bed routine? He’s 2 months old and will go to bed with me.. normally I don’t go to bed until 10pm due to having other kids and cleaning up etc.. but is it a good idea to be getting him into his own routine and setting up a monitor in his cot or is it too early for him?

7 week old baby won’t sleep

I’m genuinely at a loss. My 7 week old will not sleep on a night time. Everytime she falls asleep in my arms I go to put her down and she wakes up instantly is awake for hours afterwards

Is this a manipulation tac tic from my partner?

Baby is 7 weeks old, I’ve been tripple feeding due to weight issues/tongue tie…I’ve been doing all the nights on my own. My partner quite often sleeps in the spare room and gets full nights sleeps. Even if he sleeps in bed with me, he sleeps through baby’s cries. Even if I try to wake him up to ask him to change a nappy while I sort my pumps out, he doesn’t even wake up from me.

So anyways, tonight I kindly asked my partner if he could have the baby just for the first half of the night because I’m ill & I didn’t get any sleep yesterday. It was awful, baby was so unsettled I think she had tummy pains she hadn’t pooped in a long time. And on top of this, his parents have given me a rotten cold. So I just want to get a solid block of sleep even if it’s just 3 hours. Just to try to recover. This is the first time I’ve ever asked for anything.

His response was “yeah okay but I’m not gonna go bed then I’m just gonna stay up all night on the iPad, I’m not taking my pillows, I’d rather not sleep at all than get broken sleep”….i just said “no you have work in the morning just try to get some sleep” and i mentioned that I have to do the broken sleep day in, day out. He then started shouting at me saying “why are you kicking off at me just be grateful that I’m doing this for you”…….
Excuse me. Grateful? 😆
And I wasn’t kicking off I calmly just said this is what I’m expected to do every day and wake up feeling amazing the next day.

I feel like that’s his way of making me feel guilty & awful, so that I never ask him again.

Today all he’s kept saying is “what the f is wrong with you today” just purely because I’m unwell & not as energised.
Mate I’ve been surviving off no sleep for 7 weeks & now I’ve caught a bug that’s completely wiped me out. Even when he comes come from work, he can’t settle baby. She screams in his arms endlessly. The second I take her, she’s silent. I’m the only one who can soothe her. So I don’t even get a break when he comes home. And now I’m ill from your selfish parents & having to continue as normal & not sleeping.
But I have to be upbeat and happy 24/7….when you physically cannot do ONE night of broken sleep with the baby ?

All I did was try to tell him to put himself In my shoes and understand how that sounds and feels. I’ve never said to him “just be grateful that I’m doing this for you” when I’ve been up all night with his daughter & when he is ill.

When I mentioned to him that this feels a bit manipulative, he stormed out of the room and slammed the door. He didn’t want to hear it. But I do feel like he does that so that he gets his own way.

I’m really really struggling postpartum. Like badly. I don’t have a village. I don’t have any close family or friends. He’s all I have. And this is the treatment I’m getting. All I wanted was a couple of hours while I’m unwell.

During this argument he was giving it all this sarcasm like “are you ever wrong, you can’t do anything wrong can you”.
Feel like he’s just been so disrespectful.

Every evening he also moans that dinner isn’t ready soon enough. He’s never just gone and cooked a meal us. If baby is glued to me and he is free, I don’t see why he can’t make some food if he’s so hungry. Sometimes I feel like I’m taking care of 2 kids.
