My LO is 6 weeks old. I'm trying to EBF but last couple of days she had to be fed every hour... and not sleeping very well, so I complimented with formula. I tried expressing and I got 90ml in the morning after a bottle feed for baby and during the day I don't get much when expressing... I'm getting close to giving up... I want to go in to baby having a full tummy when breast feeding and I'm struggling rn. Is anyone in similar boat? How do we make the baby have enough to last 3 hours ? How do we check if our supply is enough for that?

The best advice i got was to "trust your body." If at this point, baby is gaining weight, you're doing something right. If you need to supplement for your sanity (because it helps with sleep it sounds like for you two), do it! But also know that these sessions will pass, your body will almost certainly adjust and produce more given the chance, and if for some reason it doesn't, you can add in formula later.
I also drank almost exclusively the "mother's milk" tea and made "lactation cookies." I don't know if they truly helped my supply, or if they just helped me feel like i was doing SOMETHING while my body and supply adjusted naturally.

6 weeks is a common point for a growth spurt where they feed more frequently to increase your supply, cry more and are generally fussier! Expressing isn’t a good indicator of supply as your baby is more efficient at getting milk than a pump. If baby has lots of wet nappies and is pooping well(yellow seedy poop) and gaining weight then your supply is fine☺️ I also have a 6 week old and she is definitely feeding more regularly in the day aswell

Sorry to hear you are struggling.
Unfortunately clutter feeding is entirely normal and putting a baby on a schedule is a very formula fed experience rather then a EBF baby.
Your baby is only 6 weeks old and you are both learning.
Feeding on demand is very normal at 6 weeks.
Expressing doesn't really indicate how much baby is getting, as long as baby's weight is increasingly and they are getting wet/soiled nappies.
I would focus on hydration and diet.
Good luck!
