Hi mamas!
My lil one has just turned 2 a few months ago. We are looking at nurseries for her however I am in 2 minds about it…
I am fortunate enough to have a flexible job that allowed me to work from home and go into the office a few times a month or whenever I want... However sometimes I need the break and she definitely needs some social time with children her age.
I do think 2 can be a lil too young to start nursery but it may also be good for her? I have heard 3 is a nice age for them to start as they can understand a lil more.
What have your experiences been? Did you LO’s enjoy it? Do you have any advice/tips?

We've started just after they turn 2, but only for 2 mornings a week. It's only 3 hours so it's not overwhelming for them, and I found it was enough for them to get the social side of it. My daughter loved it from the start, and always couldn't wait to get in there!

My eldest started at 18 months. My youngest is starting this week and she turns 10 months on Sunday. They’re both doing 4 full days a week.

My eldest started at 7 months old as I needed to get back to work as I was just worrying about money constantly as my maternity covered nothing. And my youngest will be starting at 9 months old x

My first was 12 months and my baby now will also be 12 months.

Mine daughter started 3 months before her 3rd birthday and really hasn’t enjoyed it, so I’m trialing her with a childminder atm and she seems much more settled. My daughter found nursery too loud and overwhelming, she seems to do better with just a handful of other children instead.

My oldest started at just after 2 and it was really good for her (she went 2 days a week as I was lucky and my Mum had her too so I could work more). She was quite shy and young for her age but it gave her confidence.
My youngest is going the term after she turns 2 as well although I'm more sure it's right for her as when we took her to look around she just went in and played. My older one used to find it hard to separate but she always came out smiling and seemed to thrive.

My first started at 9 months as I had to go back to work. He was only doing 1 day a week.
He started walking a month later and I put this down to being around older kids.
He’s now at preschool in the same setting and loves it, definitely a good decision for us 🥰

My oldest started just after he turned 2 and did great. We’re planning on my middle starting at 2 in September and then my youngest will start next September when they’ve turned 2. I’m currently pregnant with no4 and we’re planning on waiting until they’re 2 as well then once they’re all at school/nursery I’ll go back to work part time
I can’t believe I’m writing this but here’s the story - my boyf said he’s invited his mum over this morning as he wants to see her and she wants to see our son who’s now 10 months.
I said cool , I’m recovering from a cold and said he’ll look after me today the best as he could. Which was nice to hear.
Anyway. I didn’t think much of her visit I just got on with my day , rested a bit more and did the never ending laundry after our trip away. I was in and out the kitchen chatting a bit but very low energy.
She then decided to leave at 3:30 but , my boyfriend keeps saying you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. She said no it’s fine and the starts to cry!!
I could hear her saying no it’s fine please don’t worry I should go. I didn’t know if I should get involved so I just said bye and left them to talk.
When she’s left I’m not having an explosive argument with my BF because it was my fault , she didn’t feel welcomed and felt like she had to leave. I’m here shouting back at him couldn’t believe what I’m hearing. And just baffled with the whole situation.
I text her saying if there as something she wanted to talk about and here she is essay texting me that she knows when she’s not welcomed.
Myself and my bf are not speaking after such an argument , huge tension in the hosue and it’s all her fault. I have no words and I don’t know what to do.

My 20 month old doesn’t go to nursery he’s got a friend who’s a few months older than him but does go and I’ve noticed a massive difference.
He can count to 6 and knows his colours. How can I teach my son things like this at home?

My baby won’t be 4 months until October 30th. But I have been letting him taste purées and he loves them. Do you think it’s too soon to let him eat more than a spoon full? He has got great head control and sits in high chair without assistance

The more I live life, the more I am starting to realize how much I hate men. I am sure there are a handful that are great. But the majority of them are selfish and literally f*cking dumb.
I have to ASK for help? For things no one asks me to do?
If I decide to cook or not do laundry, it won't get done?
I am beyond tired.
The load of responsibility is not close to even.
Remembering to sign up for parent teacher conferences, which child had a physical due, what sporting game is on what day, washing dirty underwear, cleaning the car from constant crumbs at the car wash, scrubbing toilets and tubs, packing the right snacks for the picky child, then remembering to f*cking shower my own body?!
There's a reason why women are opting out of marriage or having less children. There's a reason more women with children are turning gay and being with someone that understands.
The whole political system, the whole f*cking world is SH*T because of MEN!

😅 i feel like i dont see any 16 year old girls anymore trying to make little extra cash or just moms helping other moms out.
Just me who'd be happy to help a mom out just so she can have her 3 hours to go peacefully grocery shopping or have a break. Its tough to be a mommy. And at the same recover after birth and needing that sleep.
Just me who has to choose between a shower, eating, sleeping or having a quick clean? What's your experience like ? 🥰
