Routines

So I’m well aware that it’s kinda impossible to have a routine with newborns but I’m curious if anyone has found a routine which is working for them and supporting with longer sleep stretches at night?

Tell me...

I need to know all the secrets Mama especially those mamas who are over the age of 35. During postpartum did you have a problem with shedding like your hair constantly falling out or thinning? No matter what I do or take or anything my hair will not go back to being full again. I haven't had full hair since my second oldest daughter was born. I'm on birth control. I take prenatals I use anti thinning hair care system. I'm doing it all. I'm getting stressed out because this is crap. What are your go-to secrets now? I'm going to say this as a n FYI I have psoriasis on my scalp due to allergies so I need sensitive friendly

Bottled milk rules

It’s been 17 years since my last child was born 😅 I’m due in a few weeks and am confused about the rules to bottle feeding.
I used to boil water and make bottles without the milk, then when needed, I poured the milk in when the water was room temperature and that was it.
Is that ok?
I don’t want to make my bottles up and put in the fridge to then have to warm up a bit. I also don’t want to make bottles as I need them.
What if I’m out and about all day like at a park? Surely I can pour the milk when needed at room temperature?

Nursery with a breastfed contact baby

So today my daughter started nursery officially. She's 10.5 months old, exclusively breastfed and a contact baby day and night. Shes also the most social happiest baby ever.

Nap time was to be expected. She was easy to bounce to sleep, but impossible to transfer so only managed a 20 minute morning nap. She drank no milk from the bottle or cup, but was fantastic with her solids and ate all her lunch.

She only had a half day 8:30 till 1, but fell asleep in the buggy within minutes of leaving.

Those of you with a breastfed contact baby who is impossible to transfer and attends nursery, how is it going? Are your babies struggling? Does it get better? She'll start full days eventually but I'm just worried that she wont get any sleep.

Colostrum

Hi ladies, I am 37+1 and started collecting colostrum yesterday. With my husband there it was easy for him to collect with the syringe but today doing it alone with the syringe led to me spilling half of it which was soul destroying! Has anyone got any tips on how to collect and not spill when alone?
