I take prenatals I use anti thinning hair care system. I'm doing it all. I'm getting stressed out because this is crap. What are your go-to secrets now? I'm going to say this as a n FYI I have psoriasis on my scalp due to allergies so I need sensitive friendly

There’s nothing you can do but ride it out, it’s hormonal.

Lasts about 3 months and happened to me after both babies when I hit 3m pp. it’s just hormones, you don’t shed in pregnancy so as your hormones settle back to pre pregnancy levels all that shedding happens and it’s brutal.

Keep taking your multivitamins, tie your hair up loose, don’t over wash or over brush, take biotin to encourage regrowth and don’t fall for all the snake oil BS they promise stops it.

I have scalp psoriasis though and I swear by neutrogena t/gel. It’s coal tar which is recommended for psoriasis so doesn’t smell that nice but within minutes I don’t itch anymore and my hair is so much healthier that week.

It's just normal unfortunately. If it's more than what you've had with other children it might be worth checking in with drs

I've checked in with the doctors. They say it could be from PCOS. It could be from hormones. They actually don't know why women end up with thinning hair and end up losing so much hair.

I got told I need to go see a specialist who will test my hair follicles and no it's not covered by insurance. It would be out of pocket and it can range from 900 to almost $7,500 per treatment

Oh no, I'm 3 months pp, and so far, I haven't noticed hair loss, though I do remember it from my first child pp. Not looking forward to it! I have noticed though, during the last few weeks, when it gets hot, my scalp is super itchy!!! And no matter how hard I scratch, it stays itchy. A shower normally fixes it, but I am super conscious about it because my toddler daycare emailed about headlice a while back, and I thought I had caught them! But no head lice thank goodness. Which leads me to- what is psoriasis in the scalp?! I have to research now!

Ok, just googled scalp psoriasis, and I definately do not have that. I also don't seem to have dandruff. I just have an itchy scalp at times, noticeable when im hot. Is this normal?

Heal from within. Make sure you’re still getting the vitamins you need from good first then supplements like omega 3s , great for gut lining that helps you keep the good gut batería. That heals skin issues.
Also, wash your hair more often no more than 3 days to keep your scalp clean and pores open to allow the grow phase to come through. If you don’t wash frequently or use a clarifying shampoo your hair can stay at rest/fall phase.

Breastfeeding

So I see that a lot of moms on here are exclusively breastfeeding and I wanted to know was it hard for you the first little bit and I assume it eventually gets easier and at what point is that? I’m 4 wks pp and some days I feel like I’m getting the hang of it but other days I’m like maybe I should just pump or give formula and nothing wrong with that a few months in I did that with my first. But I really wanna give it a proper shot this time

Please give me all tips and tricks that worked for you sometimes my baby keeps falling asleep at the breast every 4-5 m so I feel like I’m constantly feeding her. Nothing wakes her up not diaper changes, not tickling or applying cold she just wakes up like half an hour later and I’m feeding her again. So for times like that I get so frustrated she’s not getting a full feed at the boob

Anyways just wondering if it ever gets easier, less painful, faster and you become more confident because I’m already 4 weeks and don’t feel that

No sleep

So my 5 week old won’t sleep in her crib.. everytime we put her down she will start to cry then eventually scream. She is fed and changed so we are not sure what the issue is… but maybe it’s because she is used to being held? any tips or advice? pls help

Advice for baby sleeping not on me at night please 🙏

Baby is only a few days old but refuses to go into basket over night. During the day he doesn’t seem to mind but no matter how long I hold him for after a feed at night he screams the second I put him down.
My husband tried to take him for me just now so I could get even an hours sleep but he screamed until back on me again straight away.
Even though again day time will happily have cuddles with Dad.

Any advice at all as I don’t know how my body will actually recover if I’m up over 20 hours a day 😵‍💫

Ready to scream why won’t this child sleep

Yet another night of constantly being awake. I’ve now been trying to get him back down so long it’s time for another bottle. I’m so exhausted from being up all night every night I don’t know what else to do I’m awake more than I sleep every night. Currently had 1hrs sleep tonight. Anyone sleep trained yet? That’s what I’m trying next as nothing works to get him to sleep
