Baby won't be put down - any tips?

My baby will be 4 weeks old tomorrow and she won't sleep unless she's being held. My husband has been letting her sleep on him until about 12/1am and then I take her and between feeds we cosleep with her safely in our bed. But for the last few nights she isn't happy cosleeping either and only wants to held so none of us are sleeping. My husbands back at work now and I've got a toddler to look after too so we're just exhausted. How do people get their babies to sleep in their moses basket? Or even any tips for cosleeping again? I'm just so shattered and what we're currently doing just isn't sustainable 😩

Do you use a swaddle? Mine was like this until we started using the love to dream swaddle

Our baby was the same, but we use a swaddle at night or sleep sack, but he prefers a swaddle :)

Am I killing my supply?

So my almost 2 month old has started sleeping for 5.5 hours before waking for his first feed of the night. I usually get him to bed around 10 or 11 right after pumping from both sides and bottle feeding. When he wakes up in the night, either 3:30am or 4:30am, he only eats from one boob then he's back to sleep for another 3 hours. I'll still be engorged in both when he wakes btw. So that means that only one of my boobs is getting emptied throughout the whole night. Basically my question is will this kill my supply?? In one boob or both? What about when he starts sleeping through the night do I need to wake myself up to pump once a night to keep my supply? I still feed/pump every 2 hours or so during the day. But I just don't want to kill my supply because I'm doing the night-time feeds wrong.

Vaccination schedule + newborn visits

When did you feel it was actually safe to have visitors or host a small gathering?

My due date is in about a month, and I tried to schedule a first visit with a pediatrician for after my baby boy arrives - but they said it’s too early to book an appointment.

My husband and I are also planning a small naming ceremony with close friends and family about 2 weeks after birth.

I’d love to hear from other moms on this.

What does the vaccination schedule look like for newborns in those first few weeks/months? Would really appreciate any experiences or advice 🤍

Diaper bag!

Hi guys, I’m desperately in need of a new nappy bag 🥲I currently use my LV Neverfull and it actually fits everything, but it gets sooo messy everything just ends up on top of each other and I can never find anything quickly. I want the Mina Baie bag but I’m in the UK and shipping takes too long, I need something within a week 💔

Does anyone have recommendations for a cute/aesthetic nappy bag that has a lot of space and has a similar vibe to Mina Baie that’s also practical and comfortable to wear? xx

Sweaty feet help

My daughter has really sweaty feet, especially on hot days, her socks end up completely wet 😩 I’ve also noticed her nails starting to discolour a bit, which is worrying me.

I got her breathable shoes and cotton socks, but I’ve recently read that cotton isn’t actually the best for this kind of issue. My sister has the same problem (so I guess it might be hereditary), and she recommended bamboo socks as they’re better for sweat.

The problem is I can’t seem to find bamboo socks in her size (UK toddler 4–5).

Has anyone had the same issue and can recommend where to buy them?

Thank you 🙏

Breastfeeding

So I see that a lot of moms on here are exclusively breastfeeding and I wanted to know was it hard for you the first little bit and I assume it eventually gets easier and at what point is that? I’m 4 wks pp and some days I feel like I’m getting the hang of it but other days I’m like maybe I should just pump or give formula and nothing wrong with that a few months in I did that with my first. But I really wanna give it a proper shot this time

Please give me all tips and tricks that worked for you sometimes my baby keeps falling asleep at the breast every 4-5 m so I feel like I’m constantly feeding her. Nothing wakes her up not diaper changes, not tickling or applying cold she just wakes up like half an hour later and I’m feeding her again. So for times like that I get so frustrated she’s not getting a full feed at the boob

Anyways just wondering if it ever gets easier, less painful, faster and you become more confident because I’m already 4 weeks and don’t feel that

Yellow spit up?

My 9 week old spit up today about 10 min after a feed (exclusive breast fed) and it has some yellow pieces in it, mixed with normal white/ clear spit up. This is the first time it happened. He spit up again after and it was normal looking. Any thoughts? No other symptoms besides I believe he does have reflux and gas etc. Any thoughts would be great! Of course you look it up and google tells you the worst possible case 😅 thank you!
