So when I had my first child via emergency C-section he had a tongue tie and struggled to feed my stay in hospital and I felt so bad if I kept anyone awake on my ward.
I have just been thinking about when I’m having my Twins and will be on the ward with both of them at night by myself. I will feel absolutely horrible if I am keeping anyone awake while learning how to juggle twins.
I kind of want to take in a few goodies for the other ladies on the ward if there is any inconvenience that we may cause and have also been looking into a private room as well but you have to express your interest when you go in and can’t pre book. 😬
If I take a little care basket in for the other ladies what would anyone suggest to take with me 😃 any ideas are welcome xx

Please do not worry about that. You do not owe anyone anything.! also you're very likely to be moved into your own room given that you'll have two babies to care. If anything it's you that will be disturbed by other people and not the other way round!

Lovely idea but everyone will probably be so worried that their own baby is making noise that they won't worry about you! At my hospital we automatically got a side room due to having twins, we weren't told in advance though and I had the same worry!x

I wouldn’t worry, everyone’s concentrating on their own baby. we were in hospital for a while before and after the birth but we got a side room as there’s not much room in the ward for the twin bassinet x
Definitely hoping they do think about it beforehand as it’s going to be a planned section and would love to have a bit of my on space where I don’t annoy anyone 😬

Most hospitals will have twins in side rooms simply because the bays aren’t big enough for 2 cots/larger twin cot. Every where I’ve worked have also allowed partners to stay when you have twins too
Infection control probably wouldn’t allow any snacks to be left unless they were individually wrapped
I was told that you could only have a scan every 2 weeks but I’ve got 3 in one week

I’m 20 weeks pregnant today with my second baby, i haven’t really felt much movement in this pregnancy which is abit strange, i’ve felt the odd kick or flutter but that’s all is it normal to feel like this it. I do have a scan tomorrow to check everything is okay. last pregnancy i had scans but i’ve only had about 3 in this pregnancy as i went away for 2 week so my next one is tomorrow. just want to be reassured that everything is okay because i stress myself out all the time 😩 xx

When did everyone start packing their hospital bag? Second time mum nearly 31 weeks pregnant and feel I’ve left everything so last minute this time round 🥴

Anyone else been diagnosed? I had my glucose test and got the dreaded phone call today to say it came back abnormal. I wasn’t expecting it at all😑

Just been informed by my GP I have under active thyroid. Could be hereditary, but I’m also wondering could it be due to postpartum (almost 9 months).
Anybody experienced this? Anybody found their levels went back to normal? I really don’t want to be on medication for the rest of my life.
