I don't know how to sort out my finances

I m always behing on everything.Paid some od my rent arrears but I shoukd be paying in advance ,I don't knownhow to catch up.I v got £200 until 4th,still need to pay for broadband,some clearplay payments,my daughter needs new uniform,I m really stressed.

Cancel your clearplay for starters. It is tough to get caught up and stay caught up for sure. The only way to do that is get rid of as many monthly payments as possible!

What’s clearplay? I’m assuming this is something in the UK? I just like learning new things!

Do you have a preloved uniform shop near you? A local church hosts one and it's saved us a lot of money. Alternatively, speak to your daughter's school. They'll likely have a stash of uniform that could help you out. You could also speak to the FLO to see if you're entitled to extra support or they might have links to debt counselling services who can help sort out your financial situation.

Sometimes you just have to overcome your embarrassment for a better future. I'm sure your FLO will be very supportive!

Working vs SAHM

Trying to decide if I want to go back to work or become a SAHM. We went through infertility for 3 years and had our baby girl in February.
I’m supposed to go back in a month but cant decide if I’d rather stay home. We can do it financially.
I do like my job but it also stresses me out at times. I would ask to go back 3 days a week if I did go back (already asked just in case, awaiting response) so I’d have 3 days on, 4 days off.
This may be our only child since I’m 32 so I don’t want to miss out on these early months/years. We also have inquired at multiple daycares and haven’t been able to get her a spot.
Advice?

Anybody else dreading going back to work?

I gave birth February 27 and I am planning on going back to work April 27. I am so anxious and nervous about going back but I know I’m ready. Plus, I have no choice because I am out of money. I don’t wanna go back to work, but I also kinda need to go back to work. It’s a whole thing. Anyone else in the same boat?
