Moms, no judgement here but for how long did you breast feed your newborns? How long do you think is it okay?

Almost 4 years 😅😂 but I think however much time you breastfeed is amazing! Any amount of breastmilk is beneficial!

Going on 10 months EBF, will let my son wean whenever he’s ready. Probably not 100% until sometime in the toddler years.
It’s great and beneficial as long as the child wants it. Which on average worldwide is between 3-5 (as old as 7) years old.
WHO recommends minimum of 2 years.

Breastfed for 3 years and it was the best time of my life

13 months. I would have kept going but I found out I was pregnant and my son was doing exceptionally well at self weaning. He loved table food a little too much. 😂

OP go for as long as you like. 3 months is amazing! And don’t let anyone tell you different.

I combo feed and plan on stopping when she’s about 13 months

I think it's ok to bf as long as you want to. I did till I got pregnant with my second. My baby was 2.5 years old.

7 months so far and hoping to make it to a year (:

Don’t understand: how long does you think it is ok?!?
First 6m are most important, milk only, preferably bf. Then starting solids for fun until 1 with milk as main source, Then bf until 2 and up aside of meals

I breastfed 14 1/2 months until she quit on me 🥺 my goal was 2 years 🫣 breastfed however long you want who cares what people think. It’s your own child 🤷♀️

Until 3yrs to toddler

I nursed for 2 yrs.

My daughter self weaned just before she turned 4 years old.

Im currently breastfeeding 2½ year olds and nearly 1 year olds . I also pump so not sure when we will end but possibly the end of the year x

Combi fed for 15 months but any breastmilk that your baby gets is a bonus! If you’re able to give them 3 months then they’ve got a fantastic start and a supported immune system while they are at their most vulnerable pre vaccinations, but if you need to stop for you then that is absolutely valid! Tbh I probably should have stopped sooner than I did for my own mental health.

Bf for 2 years...it's OK as long as mom and baby are OK with it!
I’m a FTM looking for some advice please.
I’ve just started putting my 9 week old in her sleeping bag at night the temperature when we go to bed is around 20/21 degrees I have been putting her in a 1 tog sleeping bag with her sleepsuit per the guide on the sleep bag. The temperature is dropping to about 16/17 degrees throughout the night making it colder.
Would you continue to put her in the 1 tog or would you put her in a warmer tog when she’s going to bed knowing the temperature is going to drop? I am worried about overheating her. TIA xx

Help?!!!! My 18 month old from the day he was born has been absolute hell past 4pm. No matter how much sleep he has he whinges and cries at EVERY thing, all evening. My partner is really stressed out with it, as we thought by now he might have grown out of it. He’s sleeps 7:30pm- 6am, and 11:30-1:30 day nap. Eats WELL, that is what he actually mostly whinges at now… Always screaming at the kitchen cupboards. I don’t know what to do😩 is this happening to anyone else

I breastfed for 18 months and it was more because I knew it was good for baby and then when we got into it, it was for convenience and ease. But I also felt that it took things away like baby being able to spend long periods of time with family (he wouldn’t take a bottle), and also I had a lack of freedom lol.
I’d do it again and don’t regret it but I never got the “I love breastfeeding, I love the closeness, it’s magical” kinda feeling that I read people talking about.

Has anyone got any advice on sleep training? My nearly 15 week old is fine at night sleeps in her moses basket in our room still but in the day she will not go down in the cot in the living room as soon as I put her down she’s awake and won’t go back to sleep 😩

When did you start using tampons after birth?
I’m 6 weeks post c-section today and started my first period. I absoloutely hate pads with a passion I’m so fed up of them I just want to start using tampons again but information online is misleading.

Did anyone find that when they got their period their milk supply got less? Think my first period is starting and noticed I'm finding I'm pumping less and less milk at the moment and wonder if they're connected.
