Very stuffy nose!!

Anyone got any tips or tricks to help my baby breathe? The saline nose spray and the nose sucker combo does nothing, she is absolutely full with snot. It makes her very fussy and I can’t give her the dummy obviously bc she can’t breath through her nose but only her mouth

I find using saline regularly throughout the day, rather than just when needed, helps congestion be more manageable overall and lets mucus come out on its own a bit more too! Just cautious with the sucker as using it too often can make the inside of the nose swell and make congestion worse!

If congestion is stopping them from eating though contact the gp as they might be able to use hospital grade suckers!

I hate when they're ongested poor bubs, hope your LO feels better soon x

We do the nasal sucker and saline. Baby vapour rub for bed time on chest and feed. Baby olbus oil on a teddy nesr his next to me throughout the night and we put the humidifier on with a few drops of olbus oil in with the water to help. Has worked for us! X

Omg!!😩😒😲

Please tell me I’m not pregnant! I’ve been fasting for 18 hours a day this past month, and I just spent 12 hours at the spa, including quite a bit of time in the hot sauna. Now I’m really starting to worry! My period is officially one day late, so I’m going to test again in the morning and hope for the best. Between my other health issues and being anemic, I really wasn't expecting this right now.

I don't believe in abortion, so if I am pregnant, I want to make sure I stay as healthy as possible. Could you share some tips on how to maintain a healthy pregnancy? I’d appreciate any advice on staying well during this time. 🙏

C Section under GA

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any other mums here had a C-section under general anaesthetic? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and how you felt afterwards.

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with mixed emotions at the moment. On one hand, I know it was absolutely the best and safest decision for my baby, and I’m so grateful for that. But at the same time, I feel really sad that I missed those first moments after the birth.

I also had a spinal fluid leak afterwards, which meant I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t care for my baby as much as I wanted to in those first few days. I think that’s added to how I’m feeling about it all.

I’ve got a birth reflection appointment booked with my midwife, which I’m hoping will help, but I just wanted to reach out here in the meantime. If anyone has been through something similar, I’d really value hearing how you felt and how things settled for you over time.

Thank you 🤍

Help

Gestational diabetes, 36weeks 6 days and breech.
I’m suddenly so emotional and wondering if I can do this.
I’ve got to have an ECV (where they by hand try and flip the baby) next week. So nervous. Has anyone had this done please?

Hiatal Hernia

Anyone ever had one before ? Did you require surgery ? How did you manage the severe nausea and acid reflux ?

Braxton Hicks

I’m 38 weeks and have been having braxton hicks since 35 weeks. I get the odd strong one, and it’s starting to annoy me a bit when it develops into nothing 🤣
Anyone else in the same boat? I know the end is in sight now but I’m getting impatient, just hoping baby doesn’t make me wait another 3+ weeks 😅
