Mastitis or just cracked nipples

Took off work today since I thought I was coming down with something. Low grade fever and super sore achy body. Today my right nip is in so much pain and just a ton of blood when I pump. I called my OB and see them tomorrow, but anyone caught mastitis early and had a similar experience? I don’t have a red hot boob or anything but def have flu like symptoms… ugh. Thoughts?

Please tell me I’m not pregnant! I’ve been fasting for 18 hours a day this past month, and I just spent 12 hours at the spa, including quite a bit of time in the hot sauna. Now I’m really starting to worry! My period is officially one day late, so I’m going to test again in the morning and hope for the best. Between my other health issues and being anemic, I really wasn't expecting this right now.

I don't believe in abortion, so if I am pregnant, I want to make sure I stay as healthy as possible. Could you share some tips on how to maintain a healthy pregnancy? I’d appreciate any advice on staying well during this time. 🙏

C Section under GA

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any other mums here had a C-section under general anaesthetic? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and how you felt afterwards.

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with mixed emotions at the moment. On one hand, I know it was absolutely the best and safest decision for my baby, and I’m so grateful for that. But at the same time, I feel really sad that I missed those first moments after the birth.

I also had a spinal fluid leak afterwards, which meant I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t care for my baby as much as I wanted to in those first few days. I think that’s added to how I’m feeling about it all.

I’ve got a birth reflection appointment booked with my midwife, which I’m hoping will help, but I just wanted to reach out here in the meantime. If anyone has been through something similar, I’d really value hearing how you felt and how things settled for you over time.

Gestational diabetes, 36weeks 6 days and breech.
