Does anyone ever NOT get sick with a stomach virus in the house?

My 3yr just started throwing up in the middle of the night. I know its highly likely I'll get sick, too, but I'm really hoping I don't. I just started a new job. It's literally my second week. I know its not really something I can control, but I'm scared it will look bad if I have to call out so soon. I'm holding out hope I don't get it

I think you’ll be fine. Both of my kids just got over the same thing 2 weeks ago, vomiting & diarrhea for a whole week between the 2 of them.
I washed my hands after each clean up and before & after handling each kid, washing sheets, changing out trash bags, etc.

During these times it’s just extra extra handwashing!

My whole house got noro a few weeks ago and I escaped it. Wash your hands frequently and bleach everything!

Omg!!😩😒😲

Please tell me I’m not pregnant! I’ve been fasting for 18 hours a day this past month, and I just spent 12 hours at the spa, including quite a bit of time in the hot sauna. Now I’m really starting to worry! My period is officially one day late, so I’m going to test again in the morning and hope for the best. Between my other health issues and being anemic, I really wasn't expecting this right now.

I don't believe in abortion, so if I am pregnant, I want to make sure I stay as healthy as possible. Could you share some tips on how to maintain a healthy pregnancy? I’d appreciate any advice on staying well during this time. 🙏

Can someone help me out please 🙏🏼 does anyone have a list of what I need to pack - it’s a minefield ! I don’t want to take too little or too much but then want to make sure I have everything I need ! 👀
What have other mummy’s packed ?
First time mummy here ! To put into perspective how much I’ve already done = 2 suitcases which seems excessive ! My hospital will think I’ve moved in ! Xx

C Section under GA

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any other mums here had a C-section under general anaesthetic? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and how you felt afterwards.

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with mixed emotions at the moment. On one hand, I know it was absolutely the best and safest decision for my baby, and I’m so grateful for that. But at the same time, I feel really sad that I missed those first moments after the birth.

I also had a spinal fluid leak afterwards, which meant I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t care for my baby as much as I wanted to in those first few days. I think that’s added to how I’m feeling about it all.

I’ve got a birth reflection appointment booked with my midwife, which I’m hoping will help, but I just wanted to reach out here in the meantime. If anyone has been through something similar, I’d really value hearing how you felt and how things settled for you over time.

Thank you 🤍

37 weeks appointment

I had my 37 week appointment today. I’m 37 weeks today and 1cm dilated, soft and cervix isn’t high. I know people will say “you can be at 1cm for weeks!” Yes that’s true but I was barely 1cm dilated with my first baby 4 days before his due date. So I’m optimistic that I will be able to have the labor experience Ive prayed for.

Help

Gestational diabetes, 36weeks 6 days and breech.
I’m suddenly so emotional and wondering if I can do this.
I’ve got to have an ECV (where they by hand try and flip the baby) next week. So nervous. Has anyone had this done please?
