Hi everyone, my baby is 9 weeks old and for the past week and a bit he’s been fighting his daytime naps. He doesn’t want to sleep unless he’s on or next to me. He wakes up straight away or up to 10 mins after I put him down.
I’ve read that this is normal from 8 to 10 weeks but I cannot get anything done and it’s getting to the point where he’s over tired nearly everyday and screaming for some parts of each day due to this.
Does anyone have any tips? I’ve tired putting him down drowsy, I’ve tried putting him down fast asleep, I’ve tried keeping a hand on his chest, I’ve tried constantly stroking his head which usually helps him at bedtime, I’ve also tried white noise, but no matter what I try he fights it. The most I’ve got out of him was an hour in the past week alone in his Moses basket otherwise over an hour but that’s on or next to me which I’m trying to avoid.
I’d like to note that he’s absolutely fine on a night and goes down really well, but has been a little harder than usual due to him being overtired for a few days.
I feel like I’ve tried everything and I genuinely don’t know what else I can do. Has anyone else experienced this? If so does it pass and if so when did it pass for you?
Thankyou in advance!

Wear them. I got momcozy wrap during Prime days and I still use it with my 10 month old

Like Ellie says, wear him. It’s biologically normal to want to sleep near or on the mother way past 10 weeks.
