Nappy changes at nighttime

My boy is 8 weeks old. Does everyone change when they wake for feeds? He has a bottle around 9pm and a nappy change. then wakes up 2/3 times during the night. He usually takes a bottle then falls back to sleep quickly. If he hasn't done a poo am I doing the right thing by leaving till morning? Please help a struggling mum out šŸ˜¢šŸ‘šŸ¼

I would always change first when they wake for feed during night, as feed makes them sleepy again so didnt want to make them alert afterwards. If they're waking again with VERY full wee or poo and obviously upset, I would change but otherwise dont disturb x

Hi. My boy is now 10 months. I didn’t personally change unless he’d pooed or it was pretty full! I found it would wake him up too much. If you’re worried, slather on some nappy cream xx

I tend to feed then change. My lo is 5.5 months on bottled breast milk, feed her then change nappy then put her straight back down again. Works for us

Ive got an 8 week old baby boy and I tend to change first then feed, I find if I feed my little boy before his nappy change he is wide awake after. Don’t be too hard on yourself do what works best for you! X

I’ve been feeling so down. I don’t really have anyone to talk to about certain stuff but I’ve just been feeling so depressed lately. Idk what it is. I don’t even want to brush my hair or teeth. None of my pre pregnancy clothes fit I’m almost 5 months postpartum. I’m the biggest I’ve ever been in my whole life 😭 I feel like my bd ruined my life. Not because I have his baby. But because he completely changed after I got pregnant and was cheating on me my whole pregnancy. He put me in a fucked up situation and I can’t get past it. Is it normal to get ppd months later? I haven’t felt this way until just recently. 🫠 I’m just so drained I have no energy to cook or clean. I only shower because me and my baby shower together or I would probably shower every couple of days. 😪 I don’t even feel pretty or recognize myself when I look in the mirror…

My sons doctor said we can use melatonin, is she right?

Last time I questioned about melatonin and a lot of mommies said no to it. My son doesnt have a legit sleep schedule yet. Its hectic. I cant stay up until 430am anymore. I give him melatonin and hes out 30 min after I give it to him for the rest of the night. He also likes taking late nights because hes in school from 1 to 4...what would you suggest?

Breast Pump - Recommendations

Hi all! As a first time mama to be, what do you all recommend for the best breast bump? I know insurance covers this so was hoping to get an idea of what brands are best!

Night-time nappies

My little boy is 8 weeks old. We're using Tesco's
/Aldi nappies during the day. But they just aren't lasting during the night. What nappies is everyone using for nightime?

To tell or not to tell?

My MIL oversteps boundaries, disrespects our parenting decisions and belittles me as a mother in various ways. The first time she did this was when we brought my baby home from hospital and she stayed with us, the second time was recently.
She lives in another country so we only see her once or twice a year. Is it worth telling my husband how I feel or just leave it as he obviously loves her so always excuses her behaviour as 'trying to help' and I don't want to make him sad :/
