Morning after pill help!!

I ovulated around 19th-25th March and stupidly had unprotected sex on 29th (me and hubby never have any time together so clearly got a bit too tipsy!) I took the morning after pill on the 31st and was due in my period 7th April, I’m always pretty regular but I’m now 8 days late, took far too many tests but they are all coming up negative! Anyone else had this and finally came on their period or could I be pregnant despite having negative tests?! 🤦

Firstly, you can’t get pregnant that far after you ovulate. The ovum is only viable for about 24 hours.
Secondly, the morning after pill can affect your cycle. You may not get your period for a little while still.

The morning after pill does not work if you have already ovulated. It works by delaying ovulation.
Like Gabrielle said, you can't get pregnant that far after ovulation. But that is only if you are absolutely certain that you did not ovulate later than that.

The morning after pill stops/delays ovulation so it wouldnt have done anything in your situation

This may sound silly but how do people manage with more than 1 child?

I wanted a whole bunch like 3/4 and we have one who is 2/ almost 3 years old. He has only just started to sleep better. I am 35, partner 40 and we had fertility treatment to have him. I don't know if I can face doing it again and I feel so much older now. I'm enjoying watching him grow up but part of me feels bad that I didn't get my dream of more kids. Do we try again? Financially we are comfortable but our house is very small and IVF isn't cheap but we could do it.
